Overview
Guests at Yurari Rokumyo can rent out an entire traditional Japanese-style house with a private hot-spring bath. Free Wi-Fi is available at the public areas. Guests can use the 24-hour shared bath for private use and in-room massages can be request for an extra cost. JR Yufuin Train Station is a 10-minute walk away. The Japanese-style house features 2 connecting rooms with tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding. Each comes with a flat-screen TV and a seating area with low tables. A microwave, an electric kettle and a private toilet are included as well. The house comes with an open-air hot-spring stone bath. Rokumyo Yurari is a 15-minute walk from Lake Kinrin and a 15-minute drive from Mount Yufu. Oita Airport is a 50-minute drive away. Free parking is available on site and luggage storage is offered at the front desk. No meals are served.

“Highlight of our trip”
Yurari Rokumyo is a gem near the main streets of Yufuin. Our room exceeded our expectations: it was a traditional room that looks even better in person. It was also spacious and had great amenities such as Nespresso. The staff was lovely and spoke great English. They helped us find our way around Yufuin and recommended great restaurants to eat at. Finally, the private onsen was just amazing. It was the highlight of our entire trip to Japan. It was so relaxing to come back from our daily activities and soak in the outdoor rock pool.

The best ryokan I’ve stayed at in my 3 trips to Japan! Everything was absolutely perfect — from the warm welcome to the peaceful atmosphere. The private onsen was a real highlight, and I really appreciated the option to book the public one for private use as well. The view of Yufu-san from my room was breathtaking, especially at sunrise. The staff were amazing, kind, and attentive — they made the experience even more special. I would definitely recommend

The most wonderful place. The owner was so welcoming when we walked in and have us excellent directions for the town and restaurants. The place itself was incredible. The most beautiful rooms and private onsen. We were even visited by tree frog and firefly ❤️

Yurari Rokumyo was one of the best places I've ever stayed at. The ryokan is very well taken care of, clean, in an incredibly beautiful area and the onsen (private as well as the shared one) are in immaculate condition. The hospitality of the staff was admirable. We felt welcome, at ease and very grateful to have such a wonderful experience in Yufuin.

Very friendly and helpful owners who speak good English. Clean room and bath inside and outside our room. Beautiful garden. Walking distance to the Yufuin jr station and Bus terminal. Very close to the main street of tourist places. Right behind a supermarket.

“A Ryokan that's worth visiting again!”
Exactly like the photos! Reasonably priced, very clean, the onsen was so nice!! Futon was thick and warm. Location is so convenient to get to the bus station and the main shopping street. I wished my friend and I had stay for longer. 1 night is just not enough and enjoy this beautiful village and ryokan experience. The staff was so lovely! She can speak English and helped us pre-booked our restaurant and give alots of food recommendations. If you want to stay here, please stay 2 nights or more!

“Perfect for a family”
So many good things about the stay. Staff was hospitable and very accommodating to us and the two young kids we have. The kids loved it The location is easy to get to - pretty much middle of station to Kirin lake Close to grocery shops The private onsen was amazing. We managed to spend evening and morning in the onsen Would 100% recommend.

Very nice owner who helped us to make appointment for dinner. Suggested good restaurant for breakfast. Clean and tidy place to stay. Polite and helpful staffs. Provided us traditional kimonos with right sizes, enriched our travel experience staying in Yufuin.
