Overview
Surrounded by lush vegetation, Yufuin Yasuha offers traditional Japanese accommodation with tatami (woven-straw) flooring and futon bedding. Its public and private hot spring baths feature hot spring waters with a naturally blue tint. From JR Yufuin Train Station, the property can be accessed by a 5-minute shuttle ride. All rooms are air conditioned and fitted with a flat-screen TV and a seating area with a low table and seating cushions. Free toiletries, a hairdryer and toilet are provided in each. Yasuha Yufuin Ryokan has a garden, a terrace and a bar. Other facilities offered at the property include a massage salon, a luggage storage service and vending machines. Guests can enjoy soaking in the private hot spring baths at a surcharge. The ryokan is a 12-minute walk from Kinrinko Lake, and a 15-minute walk from Tenso Shrine.

“Excellent onsen.”
Excellent Japanese customer service . A bit difficult to find . We had a wonderful stay , onsen was amazing with blue colour, felt great on the skin. A bit of expensive but worth the money if you are into onsen.

“Great hospitality!”
The hotel staff were very welcoming. We were not sure if we were at the right place and they recognised us at once as we couldn't speak jap. They were very nice to help us settle our car and luggage while managing the check-in processes. While waiting, there was also a hot tea and small sweet treats provided, which was a very nice gesture. The hotel staff then brought us into our room and gave us a detailed explanation of all the facilities. They were not very good in English but they made 100% effort to understand us. Highly recommended for the hospitality!

“I am not recommend to stay here.”
The soup quality of the public onsen is good. It smooth our skin. However, it’s not the same quality in the private onsen which I spent most of the time there.

“Affordable ryokan trip”
Room was alright. There were ants crawling on the side of the room through the vase. Food was great though. I wish they had more alcohol choices. There were no milk on the vending machine outside of the public bath which was disappointing.

“Nice hotel, but too strict for me”
It has a really nice onsen if you go to the bigger one and the room was spacious. The hotel looked nice and the complimentary drinks were a nice touch. If you tell ahead, they take you to the station.
