“Cosy accommodation Right Smack in the Middle of the Shopping Street”
Wonderful location, right smack in the middle of the main shopping street. A short walk for the station, cosy open air public bath. Luckily for me, I was the only guest using it for a few times :)

“Good minshuku for short stay”
Good location; step across the road into shopping street and towards Kirin Lake. Cosy and homely feel inside. Soft and snuggly futon comforter. Delicious breakfast. Relaxing indoor and outdoor bath separated by gender.

“Cozy place close to Yufuin's main attractions”
I went to Yufuin to hike mount Yufu. Yamaboushi is conveniently located closed to Iwao Byouin Mae bus stop, where where you can hop on a bus to go to the Yufu trailhead. The main shopping street is only a short walk away, too, which means you can easily explore all the shops and restaurants. There's also a lovely little outdoor onsen. When I was there, I had it to myself, which was extra special. The staff are very friendly and accommodating!
