“Pleasant stay at good location.”
Clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and attentive. You have to pass your car key to concierge after parking so they can help to move the car for others to park. Water at the private onsen was of the right temperature.

“Amazing Ryokan - great food, relaxing, close to shopping streets.”
Situated right beside the busy shopping street, but the Ryokan itself was quiet and relaxing. The food was amazing - well worth the price we paid. We had one of the maisonette rooms, with its own bath, and that was a wonderful experience for us. The staff was amazing, attentive and really hospitable. The stay wasn't cheap, but we would love to come back again. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a tranquil and relaxing stay.

the hotel is 35 years old but was renovated five years ago so it felt new while retained its charm. has an elevator so suitable for elderly folks. both dinner and breakfast were wonderful (and way too much food!) service was warm and friendly. they tried their best to converse in English and it was more than enough.
