“Okay, but not the luxury that we were looking forward for”

The room was big and on the balcony and in the washroom, the constantly running onsens were nice and relaxing. We had the first better sleep after the jetlag here. The hotel has a shuttle ride that took us to the train, we missed the chance to use the ride to get there (need to book day earlier). The hotel managed to order us for an extra fee some fresh horse mackerel for the dinner (noticed that option at their website).The room had a nice view towards the town, even though it was raining.

Staff were all very friendly and attentive. The view from the room was so beautiful as well! The food for our Kaiseki was very fresh and delicious!

“Perfect romantic getaway”

I cannot begin to put into words how much I loved this stay. My husband and I came here as part of our honeymoon trip. I had always dreamed of staying in a Ryokan and it exceeded my expectations. The location was beautiful. The staff were friendly, helpful and just amazing. The baths were so relaxing. The views were breathtaking. Yufuin in general was great to explore too!! I will be talking about the food forever. It was fantastic. I’m a big foodie, and every meal here went straight to the top of my list of favourite foods I ate in Japan. I cannot thank the staff enough for making our stay so wonderful. We truly loved it!!!!!!

2 private onsens, both outdoors were spectacular. Massage chair for added relaxation which was definitely utilised. Large and spacious accomodation. Futon and blanket were out of this world comfy. No problems at all with the customer service - top notch. Even gave us a photo to commemorate our stay. Dinner and breakfast were spectacular and service was impeccable. Would stay here again if we ever come back to Yufuin!!!

Excellent service from the hosts, the kaiseki meals were delicious; they even prepared elaborate meals for the kids. The room was very spacious and comfortable and there was even a massage chair. The private outdoor onsens were very relaxing.

“A wonderful Ryokan in Yufuin.”

We had an unforgettable stay at this charming ryokan perched on a hill in Yufuin. Our accommodation was a little wooden house with a private small indoor onsen and a stunning outdoor Onsen set within a garden. Staying for two nights on a half-board plan, we enjoyed exquisitely presented meals served in our room. During our stay, we interacted with two staff members, both of whom were exceptionally warm and welcoming. A truly special experience.
