Overview
Boasting large hot spring baths both indoor and open-air, Yufuin Kotobuki Hananosho offers Japaense-style ryokan accommodation just a 5-minute walk from JR Yufuin Station. It features Japanese gardens and Mount Yufu views. Rooms are fitted with basic facilities like a flat-screen TV, a fridge and air conditioning. An electric kettle with tea bags is also provided. While staying at the Hananosho, guests can unwind in the public bathing area, which includes a sauna. Drinks vending machines are available on site, while luggage storage is offered free of charge. The hotel is a 15-minute walk to Yunotsubo Kaido where guests can stroll around. Lake Kinrin is a 20-minute walk away. A Japanese-set meal, featuring wagyu beef toban yaki, is served at the dining room. Traditional Japanese breakfast is also on offer at Kisui restaurant.

“I really enjoy the hot springs, Dinner and breakfast.”
The hotel is in a great location. The welcome drink was my favorite green tea. Dinner and breakfast were both very delicious, and the staff was attentive, and they took my requests very seriously, making sure everything was handled with great care. I felt truly satisfied with the experience.

“Good choice in Yufuin”
A lovely hotel within walking distance from the train station. The indoor and outdoor onsen are both excellent, offering a relaxing experience. The room is neat and tidy, and the balcony provides a perfect spot to sit back and enjoy the scenic mountain views. A nice touch was the staff coming in to set up our sleeping beds on the tatami, giving us an authentic Japanese-style accommodation experience. Unfortunately, we did not book the meals, so we’re unable to comment on the dining.

“Fabulous onsen hotel in good proximity to the Main Street of Yufuin.”
Fantastic dinner and breakfast provided. We stayed 3 nights and the hotel provided 3 different dinner menus! The quality of the dinner was outstanding! Truly worth the high price we paid. Parking was ample. The Onsen was great, with both outdoor and indoor pools.

I like the welcoming tea. It was great with the dessert. Onsen was a perfect relaxation after a long walk. Hotel is close to Yufuin bus and train station around 7 min walking distance.

A convenient location which is 10 minutes walking from JR station and the main shopping street. The Japanese style room is spacious with a beautiful view. The dinner was a Japanese full course menu and the food was delicious. The indoor hot bath and the outdoor onsen are good.
