“Perfect onsen experience”

This is the perfect place for an onsen experience. We stayed in Room Karin for 2 nights. The villa is spacious and well-equipped with a private indoor and outdoor hot spring facility attached in the backyard. The hot spring water did wonders to smoothen the skin and to relax the body. All the staff were super friendly, polite and attentive. Kaiseki-style dinner was served every night in a different private dining room and the food was both creative and delicious. All in all, this is such a unique experience that we hope one day we will visit again, very well done to all the staff!

took the yuzen room and was across the street from the reception. staff was warm and friendly to my children. the room size was astounding for a ryokan. dining emphasized on western elegance. located near kinrin lake and yufuin main shopping street.

The room/cottage was big, landscaping was nice. Indoor onsen in room was large. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was near to the attractions such as kinrin lake.

One of the best stays I have ever had! Everything from the facilities, onsen, and hospitality of all the staff to the food was outstanding. My friends and I enjoyed our stay immensely! I would definitely recommend it to my other friends!

Great ryoken experience with excellent meals. The ryomen was spacious and offered both bed and tatami futon sleeping options. Private ensuite onsens were enjoyable.

The food (breakfast and dinner) was exceptional. The multi-course dinner was a highlight, and possibly the best meal we had in Japan.

Very nice outdoor baths. Private meals.

Cozy living area. It well presents the transitional Japanese home but also comfortably provides two kinds of sleeping (beds or tatami) to accommodate people with different needs. The dinner is super delicious and feels like we are enjoying it in a Michelin stared restaurant.
