“Totally worth to come here to zen”
Location: far from Yufuin station but there’s free shuttle bus. Call them when you arrive at the train station. Room: spacious and clean. Mine is with private open bath . Good for privacy but the ryokan itself has 1 public onsen and 2 private onsen. if you are not getting an own attached private onsen at yr room, can use these..no need book, just walk in so long no one occupy the private onsen. Public is open to all but separated between male and female only. Staff: friendly but mostly foreigners but I’m fine with it since can communicate in English. Food: ours with half board of dinner and breakfast. Satisfied and a delicious kaiseki dinner meal. Breakfast also traditional style which I enjoyed it a lot too.

The deco was nice. Traditional with modern touch. Love the private onsen that is with the room. Awesome view. The food was awesome. Portion was good.

“The most beautiful ryokan I have stayed”
Room was amazing! So beautiful and spacious . I love the indoor and outdoor private onsens. Beds were very comfortable. Overall ambience was just beautiful and perfect.

“Nice and cozy stay”
Had a great stay here at Yufuin Bath Satoyamasafu we were surprised to know that the place have private onsen bath. we had a great time hear. the staff was very nice and helpful we requested a pick up and drop off at Yufuin station and it didn't take long time

“Beautiful area, nice baths, friendly staff - will come back!”
My favourite part was the open air baths - private baths & our room one. The rooms have a lovely view of Yufudake. From the room’s open air bath, you can see the mountain. Staff members were very friendly and attentive too that made our stay even more pleasant :) The room size was very generous that three adults stayed comfortably.

“Amazing couple getaway”
We stayed in a suite with an open-air onsen on the ground floor . The experience was absolutely exceptional. The service, meal quality and overall ambiance were a perfect 10/10. The dinner blew our mind (we often seek out Michelin restaurants when we travel). Another delightful touch was the aroma of tea leaves in the suite adding to the tranquil atmosphere (except the Korean couple next door playing music loud) The ryokan offers a free pick-up service from Yufuin Station—just give them a call upon arrival. Having some basic Japanese can enhance communication with the wait staff
