Amazing and traditional Japanese hotel nestled perfectly within a quiet yet accessible area of beautiful Yufuin. The staff are wonderfully attentive, friendly and helpful. We especially enjoyed the private onsens of which we could try all available ones. The Kaiseki-style dinner was out of this world delicious. All in all, this hotel with its atmosphere of tradition and hospitality truly made our stay in Yufuin unique and unforgettable!

Service staff were great and helpful. Room was spacious and clean. The private onsen rooms were clean and beautiful. Nightly rates were great value for a ryokan.

The location is far away from the JR train station & bus station of the city. However the hotel is very beautiful in Japanese style wooden buildings. Also the hotel reception can provide services for taxi to pickup or drop off the customers required locations with the reasonable price if they have a lot of luggage’s.

Good location, walking distances to shopping/food street and lots of nearby eateries. Lovely onsens, but subjected to availability of bookings, similarly for their in-house restaurant.

“Amazing food and onsen”

The dinner, lunch and private outdoor onsen rooms are simply amazing. We got the bigger room, the bedding and tatami is so comfortable . The ryokan is a short walk from the main shopping touristy street, and less than ¥2,000 by taxi from Yufuin station, so it’s really convenient. It’s also in a quiet residential area and surrounded by nature. The staff team is also very friendly and professional, making our stay so relaxed. Everything is so clean, neat and tidy.

Hotel was generally very clean and well maintained. Location of Hotel is very near the buzzling shopping streets and also walking distance to the train station. Our tatami room was very spacious and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Private onsens were very enjoyable and bookings were flexible, allowing changes to available time slots at any time. Breakfast was good too.

Lovely stay close enough to the main attractions of Yufuin but just enough off the beaten path for a peaceful stay. Friendly helpful staff and fantastic facilities. Really nice Japanese breakfast with plenty of food. The room we stayed in was very spacious and well designed. Great value for money too! Highly recommend!

Serene and calm is the vibe I have from the ryokan. The most interesting experience was able to book a private onsen for indoor and outdoor and do it with your family.

Location: near enough the main attractions but far enough to still feel secluded and peaceful Staff: very welcoming and always aiming to please and delight their guests Food: we chose the dinner and breakfast option and both were just excellent

“This is a hot spring hotel that is well worth staying at for a night.”

Breakfast and dinner were both abundant and delicious. The private hot-spring bath we reserved was extremely relaxing. Although the room has a bit of history, it is spacious, very clean, and comfortable. The hotel staff were all exceptionally friendly and welcoming. It’s a pity that we only stayed for one night this time—if given the chance, we would definitely come back and stay for two nights or more. Overall, it was a truly wonderful experience.
