“A relaxing and comfortable stay.”
The hotel was in a quiet mid-hill location which was away from the crowded Yufuin city. Both the breakfast and dinner were great. Overall the hotel was good value for money. Besides our room had a nice view facing the Yufu Mountain. The in-room onsen was very convenient too.

The photos were so misleading. The dining hall looked like a school canteen. So disappointing we refused to stay and left.

Very comfortable hotel with nice private onsen offering a nice night view of Yufuin, free soft drinks including Pepsi, Orange lemonade, and sugar free cold tea - even without the paid breakfast. Helpful and friendly stuff as well! They offer free shuttle service to the train station.

“Superb - a unique travel experience”
In all our years of travel, this was likely the most enjoyable accommodation we have ever stayed in. Our own Onsen, a superb view over the town, a spacious balcony coupled with a good-sized room, made it one of our most pleasurable travel experiences. The closest restaurants are near Lake Kinrin, but it's relatively easy walk. We also did Bento boxes, using the available microwave. Walking into town is also quite pleasant and is less than 2 kms. We did not partake the half board option. There is a scheduled shuttle from the train station for both pickup and drop-off, with 3 times available.
