Okuyado Buaiso has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Yufu, 41 km from Oita Bank Dome. There is a private entrance at the ryokan for the convenience of those who stay. Guests can use the public bath and the open-air bath, or enjoy garden views. All good. Superb environment, room, food and service. Nice onsen egg. A bit far from Yufuin so make sure you have a car, or budget for taxi.

Very peaceful and scenic views but location is hard to find and we had to make a big round to reach the hotel. Staff was especially helpful in making sure we are well taken care of. Public onsen was fantastic

“Very Japanese Ryokan with beautiful garden & in the middle of forest”
The location is very nice, with beautiful views and garden. The food is very special and unique for our set dinner among other food we were served Fuga Puffer fish. The hotel stuff was very attentive and helpful.

Very helpful and friendly staff (thank you for great help of Minato san before and during our stay). Super relaxing in both public onsen and private one in room, very comfy futon beds. Very spacious room. Excellent food and restaurant staff too.

Location was stunning, hotel itself was amazing too. We stayed in a suite room and had both indoor and outdoor bath area, large living space and small garden. Everything was provided for, and we lived in the hotels' japanese clothes. The public onsen was empty each time we went (by chance) and it was glorious with a hot and warm pool, excellent bathing facilities. We visited nearby volcanos, hiked Mt Yufu and went to Lake Kirin, all spectacular. Food was out of this world and we over indulged. Service was friendly and excellent. Kudos to Minato, the only fluent English speaking staff there for all his help! All in all, superb!

The room is superb with very big n comfortable bed n bedding. toilet is big n warm w pretty toiletries 🥰outdoor private onsen was great. staffs are super friendly and their hospitality was great. they speak fluent english. breakfast n kaiseki dinner were really scrumptious (puffer fish sashimi)
