“Great private onsen experience for mountainous stay in Yufuin”

The property is right nearby a Lawson shop and the bus stop to go to Beppu, from which you can go to Oita via train. It’s also at the end of the main road that has all sort of small shops, and ultimately all nearby Lake Kinrin. Essentially it’s at the end part of Yufuin rather than at the beginning part with the station. This can be both an advantage and a disadvantage, but if you like me chose Yufuin as base instead of Beppu and Oita, is the fastest way to have a quick run to the bus stop right in the morning. I genuinely liked that we also had our own Onsen and could do laundry, although not all of it was perfect.

The staff were very kind and always happy to help, which made the stay especially pleasant. The room was simple but perfectly adequate — not luxurious, but clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The indoor onsen was a really nice touch, especially since it could be used privately, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, a very good stay and great value for what it offers.

Location is close to Kinrinko Lake and Yunotsubo street. Good to be at Kinrinko much early before the crowd arrives.

The owner was exceptionally kind and accommodating, and personally drove me around. It has a nice hot spring built in.

Quite and comfortable room. Close to Kinrin lake. Nice outdoor and common area. Friendly staff.

No food available. No shower in room. Management removed my laundry wet from machine and returned it claiming it was dry.

The location of the hotel was a 3 min walk away from kinrinko lake and there's also a convenient store right next to it. The room and bed was comfortable with yukata, hairdryer, amenities provided. At the lobby there's a freeflow coffee, tea, cold/warm water. There are plates and cuttleries available for use, just make sure to return them at the tray return corner.

“Above my expectations!!”

The staff was lovely and helpful and there’s an area where you can get a cup of tea, water etc The room was comfortable and also had a basin and toilet. Just the bath tub is shared, you’re supposed to use the onsen. They provide a yukata and slippers too. Location is good for the places of interest, but it’s far from the station when you have to push a heavy luggage and walk among the hundreds of tourists. All in all though, much better than what I thought it would be!

I love the outlook of the building - a lovely blue little house in European style. The lobby is new and cozy with a common area & free drinks provided, the pantry has an oven and a microwave so you can make your own meal when you don't want to walk out in the dark at night. The indoor and outdoor onsen can be occupied privately which is a nice surprise for me. Friendly staff. Very close to the main touristy street and to the lake. Happy with my stay :)
