The place to be to soak in the special atmosphere of the Finnmark in Northern Norway! The house is at the town limits of the little settlement of Kiberg. Trond is an amazing and hospitable host who opens his house for guests. Thank you for everything!

Location was very good, check out the Kiberg Kittiwake Hotel with its 500 guests! The host was exceptional, my holiday highlight was our boat trip, Whales, birds and King crabs. Even saw 2 Artic Foxes near Dommen.

After a long day of cycling Trond’s place was very warm and homey to arrive to! Right on the water with a beautiful view of Varanger. At breakfast I got some freshly caught king crab from the night before! He also rented me his car to drive to Hamningberg as it was bad weather the next day, and drove me to Vardø with the bicycle! He’s also extremely knowledgeable about the area! Couldn’t ask for more!!

I chose this place as the most convenient and at the same time far from the tuiistic trails. nearby is the city of Vardo, which has a port and an airport nearby. I took an incredibly comfortable bus myself; it runs according to schedule. If you want to get acquainted with the culture and flavor of these places, just come here. thank you to the owner that he is engaged in this business with love for both these places and people. It was a great success for me to be here once!

It was a great stay in a magnificent place. The room was very comfortable and quiet. I sincerely enjoyed my time at this cozy house and especially the hospitality of the owner!

Beautiful location, great views over the bay. Very clean and comfortable. Trond was friendly, welcoming, helpful with recommendations, a wealth of information. He cooked us a delicious dinner. Breakfast was great. Highly recommend.

Clean and cosy accomodation in a good location with a very nice and attentive host. We had a very pleasant stay.

We had a lovely overnight stay here. It was very quiet and calm, the ocean right in front of the house is so beautiful. The owner is very accommodating and nice, he even made coffee for us in the morning! No extra charge for a dog, which is a bonus.

“Fantastic location, great host”

Trond is a lovely host and has the ability to have made me feel very much at home in his house that he opens up for guests. He rents out 2 (3?) rooms and is extremely knowledgable about the area and can either guide himself or give great advise. The house itself is fantastically located a little outside of the village of Kiberg and is set right at the shore of the Barent Sea. I just loved sitting in the living room and stare through the panoramic windows over the sea. The whole area is very special and for whatever reason Trond's house added to the overall feel of having visited a very special and unique place in the north.

The position near the sea and close to the village. The owner was helpful and friendly, even finding out the situation for us when we phoned him when we were stuck on a road blocked by snow. We had not expected the use of the kitchen which was a bonus. The owner left us to ourselves for three of the four nights of our stay. The house was comfortable with a good view over the bay.

“Finnmark getaway”

Nice, clean Finnmark house right by the sea in a small village. Reindeer & sheep roam under the windows. Helpful, knowledgeable host, that can take you out to sea too. Tusen takk, Trond!

“Charming and cozy”

Trond is a lovely host and the place is charming and welcoming. The view is great but unfortunately we had very poor weather so we didnt spend much time outdoors.

Location was wonderful, so peaceful. Room and house were clean and very cosy. Host was helpful and friendly.
