Old Saxo is located in the heart of the historical centre of Ypres, 500 metres from the Menin Gate and 350 metres from In Flanders Fields Museum and the central Market Square. Free Wifi is provided throughout the apartment. The apartment features partial view on Ypres’ Market Square. The unit comprises a seating area with a flat-screen TV and a DVD player. Old Saxo is nicely situated in a quiet street and easy to find. It has a reasonably well fitted kitchen, fine for holiday. The sitting area is comfortable and the TV shows 2 BBC channels. The bathroom has been recently refitted and the shower is great, and the bed is very comfy.

“Home from home in Ypres - my favourite city!”
Great location in the beautiful city of Ypres. Fabulous little apartment. Incredible shower and mirror, lots of towels, kitchen equipment and cleaning product’s, and everything you need to arrive on holiday and live ‘home from home’ straight away. Bernard the host is just great; helpful, charming, welcoming and flexible. We arrived by train but how fabulous to also have a parking space. We’ve been to Ypres 20+ times and Old Saxo is up there with the best!

Old Saxo was a lovely, cozy suite. It was very well equipped with everything you need to self cater though also an easy stroll to great restaurants. It is within easy walking distance to Menin Gate abd a beautiful walking by the river. We highly recommend it and hope to return again. Dankuwel Bernard

Our apartment had been recently renovated with a modern and well equipped shower room including a smart mirror with touch controls for de-misting and switching on lights. Our host Bernard was as ever very welcoming.

good size for two people (comfortable ) to stay in Nice size bedroom , kitchen good too for cooking Shower was bit poor But lovely place to stay (in town walking distance) Lots of Places to see locally too Enjoy our stay in September 2025 Would stay again at this apartment

Perfect location, slightly away from the main square, which was ideal as the fair was in town. Very clean, comfortable and had everything needed, including secure parking . The owner is a very pleasant, well organised gentleman who was always contactable. Have already asked to go back!
