Nestled in tranquil mountains, Miyoshino Sakuraann offers traditional Japanese-style accommodation that went through a renovation in 2014. It is conveniently located a 5-minute walk from Yoshino Train Station and a 2-minute walk to Senbonguchi Ropeway Station. Offering mountain views, each room is fitted with tatami (woven-straw) flooring, air conditioning and a seating area. A flat-screen TV is also included. Shared bathroom comes with towels and slippers. The Sakuraann provides luggage storage services and drinks vending machines. Free parking is offered on site. The property is a 100-minute train ride from Kintetsu Nara Station. JR Nara Station is a 2-hour ride away.

“Good choice to stay at Yoshinoyama”
I enjoyed my stay at Miyoshino Sakuraan. The location is great, the personnel are polite, and all the amenities have been provided. Private bath (there are 3 or 4 of them) was very good (you just have to book it free of charge when checking in).

“A night in Yoshino during a threeweek trip in Japan”
The property is closed to the train station and the ropeway station. Our room was small but clean and comfortable. The shared hot bath is well organised. A few negative points: the shared bathroom can only be used at night and there was only cold water on the sink of the toilet; there is neither possibility to have diner or any kind of breakfast.

“An utter delight to stay here with Kazuko.”
This was a beautifully kept room in a homey guesthouse. This was my only experience at a ryokan, staying at a string of hotels in the rest of my stay, and the quiet, private and genial hospitality was a delightful change.
