Lovely wee house, set in a nice estate. All mod cons available. Warm and cosy. Nice walks around the local area while being handy to visit York.

The location was perfect, extremely quiet. A short drive away from the city centre. We were extremely pleased with the property & facilities.

The facilities- my children loved having access to the pool and tennis courts.

Cottage was lovely, cosy and clean. It was equipped with everything we could possibly need, especially the kitchen. Lovely grounds/estate for wandering and exploring. Kids loved the pool. Short drive to park & ride made it very convenient to get into and out of York city centre.

“Clean and tranquil with beautiful surroundings”

We wanted a quiet comfortable stay within a short distance from the centre of York. The keys were easily accessible and the host met us on arrival. The grounds were stunning and the room was comfortable and clean with all the facilities we needed. It was lovely and quiet and I would certainly recommend the Vavasour to friends and family looking for the same experience.

The location was beautiful, quiet and the swimming pool and tennis courts made it really family friendly. This made my daughter's day to swim everyday in the heated outside pool, which was free for us to use, as we were staying in one of the houses on the estate we got to use all the facilities.
