Award-winner of Visit York Tourism Awards 2019 and 2017 B&B of the Year, Tower Guest House offers boutique-style accommodation in a grand Victorian town house in York, about 1 mile from York Minster and The Shambles. With free WiFi and free onsite parking, the property is just 11 minutes' drive from York Racecourse. The guest house has 8 luxurious en suite rooms with high-quality bedding to help ensure a restful night's sleep. Each also benefits from a flat-screen TV. Some rooms boast a four-poster bed or a super king-size bed. Guests can request to have champagne, chocolates, or flowers placed in the room prior to arrival. There is air-conditioning throughout the property. Full English or continental breakfast are served in the bright breakfast room each morning. A range of restaurants can be reached in around 20 minutes on foot. York's historic centre is just 20 minutes' walk away. The city's many attractions include York Minster and The Shambles.

Exellent guest house Very clean and cumfortable.Great location. Host was fantastic with all aspects of contact imformation.Special thank you for sorting a parking permit for me on my check out so i could keep my vehicle there for the day. Super stay and highly recommended. Will deffinetly stay there again.

“Fabulous guest house”
The whole house was lovely, Tony was very welcoming, and nothing too much trouble. Brilliant thought has gone into the details. Everything was spotlessly clean. On a personal note, the bed was a bit too firm for us, but the bedding was beautiful and of a high quality. Perfect location, as you cam park here, the number 6 bus stops just outside and goes straight into York. Tony makes fabulous eggs benedict! Would absolutely recommend, and if we are heading this way again would totally book again. Thank you Tower Gueat House.

Very comfortable spacious room well located in walking distance of York. Each room is themed - ours was Asian! Modern interiors and facilities. Well worth a stay.

“Amazing”

There was so much to like here.... Staff were welcoming and warm, informative and accommodating. (Even taking our bags to the room as we arrived early on check in day and allowed us to leave our car for a few hrs on check out day so we could pop into York to grab a few last bits. The whole place was spotless clean, the room was a great size and had everything you could need, they had thought of everything. The bed was comfortable and clean with great pillows and bedding that matched the room perfectly. The air conditioning was a godsend. We were asked the next morning if we needed anything extra tea, coffee etc and they were happy to bring us extra tea, coffee and milk. Minimul noise from the road, we slept really well the whole time we were there, the blackout blind was great for a nice lie in. Its a really nice, easy, straightforward walk into York, about 15-20 mins if your in no rush. Perfect for us although the bus is easy too if needed. My emails were always replied to and we just found the whole experience really lovely, we would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of staying here and would definitely return here without a doubt. Thank you for a wonderful stay 😊

“luxurious acscommodation, well located and great value for money 🙏”
Large and beautifully presented Asian themed room with large, comfortable super king bed, tiled shower and bathroom. Easy walk to town centre for exploring York. Such a great place to come back to rest after a few huge days exploring all that York offers. Our favourite stay on our 6 week adventure through UK and Paris.

“Fantastic”
Very clean and very modern, great location easy to walk into York. The host was excellent and gave us a really good recommendation for food in the evening, which was fabulous.
