“Peaceful and picturesque”

Was lovely to go old school and have someone greet us on arrival and give us a tour! The Piglets is much bigger than the photos suggest and is in a beautiful setting. The park and ride into York is only a few minutes drive away near the Leisure Centre, sports ground and retail park. Also a bus stop at the end of the drive. We would have loved to have spent more time in the property but were there for a wedding. Thank you for a great stay.

The place was spotless and warm. The location was great and near the bus stop into town. Nip gave us a lift into town on the first night and was very helpful. The bed was comfy and it was quiet.

Great setting close to York, yet feels like you're in the countryside, with cows in the adjacent field. A lovely and comfortable, well-appointed and well-maintained cottage with spacious, allocated parking right outside the property.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was lovely to see the cows at the end of the garden. It was modern living in a rural setting. The host was very attentive and friendly. Thank you

It was spacious, beautifully furnished and immaculate.and being all on one level was perfect for my disabled wife.Only a few minutes from the town centre and your in the middle of the country !

Beautifully kept, very comfortable, and well furnished with everything we needed. Perfect location for us, with open fields behind, yet a short bus or taxi ride into York. Owners were friendly and welcoming. We’d definitely return next time we come to York, thanks Nip and Ellie!

Lovely peaceful location. Fantastic outside space with cows at the end of the garden, which my grandson loved. Although you're around the proprietor family, it feels like your own because of the secluded garden. Lovely accommodation with large bedroom. Everything you would need is thought through.

A lovely fully equipped cottage in a peaceful location. We were met by one of the hosts on arrival to handover the key and show us around the property. We couldn’t have asked for more and would definitely go back at some point.
