The location was great for what we needed, if we had stayed longer it would of been nice to of had a local.pub etc

I would have given this property a 10 but the quality of the numerous pots and pans was really bad. All of them had the non stick coming off and we didn't want that in our food. Other than that it was perfect.

Beautiful house in a perfect location. We used the park and ride to get into York which was about 15 minutes away. The cottage was warm and cosy with great facilities; we chose to stay in and cook rather than go out so we could take advantage of the large garden and hot tub. I can't fault the property and the hosts were so lovely and helpful. They were always on hand to answer questions, they made sure we had everything we needed and the welcome book was really useful as we hadn't been to York before. I would highly recommend this for a weekend or even longer. We had the best time.

Very generous spacious rooms, fully equipped kitchen. Garden and hot tub are particular highlights and offer privacy that we were looking for. Lots of parking space for any size car, WiFi available for streaming services on tv. Will definitely be back for another stay.

Beautiful, big, comfortable house near York had everything we need to stay. There was very clean and house has central heating.

The shower is an electric shower so not powerful, depends what you are used to but tbh nothing wrong with it.

Beautiful property. Warm and inviting with everything we needed for our stay. The beds were so comfy. Situated in a lovely quiet village, this made a great base from which to explore.

It was a great location for trips to various tourist spots and York city, the designer retail park and shopping centre. The garden is huge so great for kids to get out and play. We liked the TV in the downstairs bedroom.

Very comfortable property, very clean and well furnished plus everything you’d need for your stay. Lovely comfortable beds. Off road secure parking, picturesque village location within easy driving time to the Moors, York, Malton, Pickering, Castle Howard etc.. Plus owners are on site and are very attentive.
