“Fabulous!”

The Garden Studio is stunning and has an air of real luxury. Everything you need for a lovely stay is contained within this extremely well designed space, with the added bonus of a very pretty courtyard. We also had the benefit of a parking space, provided on the same quiet street as the accommodation itself. Within a five minute walk to The Minster, the Studio is perfectly positioned. The owner couldn't have been more helpful and there was a lovely welcome treat waiting for us on arrival. Just fabulous!

The studio was perfect! Beautifully decorated and well equipped. Lovely private patio. Location was great within 5 mins walk to the walls of York and 3 mins to a local supermarket. Welcoming flowers and wine were a lovely touch too. Host Roger was very prompt responding with recommendations of local restaurants etc.

The location was excellent, we did not have to use the car as all venues were in walking distance. The parking was across the road and organised by Roger.

The property is 5-10 minutes walk to York Minster, Shambles, shops and cafes. Its location is just perfect. The apartment offers every comfort of home. It’s tastefully decorated, cleaned and comes with an outdoor patio. The hosts are exceedingly helpful. When known I have difficulty with self check in, Louise waited for me outside the building to let me in. They also answered messages very promptly. I am very lucky to be able to book this place because of a sudden cancellation. The room charge is really great. A few minor issues. The door to the patio cannot be locked properly. The artificial scent from the dry petals triggered my allergic rhinitis. The duvet was too thick for sleep during the unexpected hot weather. Perhaps you can provide a thin blanket?

From start to end the communication was excellent with contact made the day before our arrival, that the room was available early if needed ( no charge). There was a bottle of sparkling and goumet chocolates awaiting us. The decorating and colour palette of the room is a credit to the owners - risky but beautiful colour scheme. Lovely big kitchen bench. Easy access to supermarkets, train station, cafes and city centre. We could have easily spent a week here. Lovely owners.

Absolutely superb, we loved everything about this studio apartment.Exceptionally clean and very stylish. Location was excellent, central to everywhere in York. The owners were so helpful and accommodating, we could not have asked for more. We were left chocolates and bubbly upon arrival, lovely touch.

The apartment was beautifully decorated and had everything you need. Roger was a great host and communication was great prior to and throughout the stay. Location was fantastic also. We can't wait to stay again.

Everything was just perfect for our stay in York. Roger and Louise were so helpful and went above and beyond in making us feel welcome. The location is perfect and so easy to walk to all the main areas.

Beautifully styled and furnished. Very comfortable bed. Excellent bathroom with great hot water and strong water pressure. Studio was exactly as per photos. Hosts were excellent in communication and left fresh flowers and a bottle of sparkling wine. Parking was free and on site (Studio is next to a car park). Location was amazing and so close to all attractions (walking distance) and to restaurants etc. The little courtyard garden was gorgeous too.
