“It was very comfortable and in a great out-of-the-way location.”

It was very well laid out and had all you needed for the stay. I liked the underfloor heating and the bathroom was very good. I liked the decoration and there was plenty of hot water. An issue was sorted out promptly.

everything about this stay was absolutely fantastic. the hut was clean and immaculate. and the host were lovely. I would definitely recommend staying here. we will be booking again soon. such a lovely quiet, peacefull break that was needed. x

Very well organised location - was a real treat to wake up next to the chickens and the alpacas and felt very much in the countryside whilst being super convenient for York.

Absolutely everything! Clean, very comfy bed, bedding and towels fantastic, all round excellent quality, everything has been catered for, so cosy relaxing. Feeding the Alpacas on site was amazing, great experience, free roaming chickens, very friendly! The owners are such lovely down to earth people and the free fresh laid eggs is a nice touch

Clean, spacious and all the usual shepherd hut amenities. The nearby alpaca pen was a boon, together with the fire pit and log burner.

Everything whole property was clean and cozy was just us there nice to have a lazy break away

Perfect cosy hut, warm and very nicely decorated. Underfloor heating and the option for a wood fire too. The location and area is beautiful too with animals close by and the ability to meet them.

The whole experience was absolutely fantastic. The location, facilities, decor and the little homey touches like a little carton of milk and free range eggs all made for an unforgettable experience. Also the warm welcome we got from the friendly chickens made our day! We will defiantly be recommending this place and we will be back next year! Without a doubt the best place I have ever stayed in:)
