Hot tub, outside area,barbecue!!! The house was stunning inside and out!! The pictures don’t do it justice. My friends/family & were blown away on how gorgeous everything was! The beds were very comfortable, the fans were much needed and we appreciated them. The cutlery was A1!!! Top stuff!!!

“Overall a great place to stay”

We really enjoyed our stay and loved how much land there was to explore. It was quiet and relaxing. The beds were comfy and it was very clean. There was more than enough of everything in the kitchen, such as cups and plates and cooking utensils. The downstairs wet room certainly made life easier for the great grandparents. We would definitely recommend and would love to come back. Great location to explore York too.

Everything exceeded our expectations, the hot tub and grounds were fantastic. The kitchen area was a perfect hub for the family to get together. There was so much space for the dog, great location, super comfy beds and all with en suite bathrooms! The owners had thought of everything and the complimentary welcome back was delightful!

“Fabulous house and setting, perfect for a family gathering!”

Huge, light, modern, very social kitchen space with great views out to the beautiful surroundings. All four bedrooms have very comfortable beds and their own ensuite. Plenty of utensils, crockery, cutlery et cetera. Everywhere was very clean. Huge tv with apps. Outside space is exceptional, especially for the children who loved the climbing frame and woodland. Hot tub is large and situated in a lovely spacious outdoor area. The market town of Pocklington is close by and has interesting little shops and cafes. Also Burnby Hall Gardens is well worth a stroll - has a playground and cafe. Allerthorpe water park is also close for water sport’s although we ran out of time to visit.

Amazing property and grounds. We could not fault anything. The kitchen area was fantastic. The owners had thought of everything and even left a lovely welcome pack. We only had four nights so we weren't there long enough just to sit and enjoy the facilities, although the hot tub was used and appreciated after busy days out. We will definitely be back, hopefully in the summer time so we can enjoy the outside area and BBQ etc.

Great location for our stay for the Yorkshire Marathon. Very well location for the park and run from Elvington Airfield. Extremely easy check in with lovely welcome pack. The housekeeper kept us informed of check in time. House was perfect for two families coming together. Outdoor space was even better than we had anticipated. Lovely kitchen/dining area with everything we needed. Cosy with stove and lots of blankets etc available. Bedrooms were ideal,all with new ensuites. Abundance of towels for bathrooms and hot tub. Shower gel, toilet roll, hand wash, dishwasher tablets etc all provided.

The house was amazing, especially the garden and outside area. Finding the house was simple, the key code made it easy to check-in. The house was spotless clean and had all the things you would possibly need. The hot tub was great and the BBQ area too. We had plans to do things each day but the house and garden was that nice we ended up spending the whole time there. The café 2mins drive away was a gem, and there's a pub 5mins drive away which did lovely food. Big supermarkets are just 20mins away but we got the food delivered which went without a hitch. Overall I was blown away by how nice it was and we are already looking at going again next year!

“Fantastic family getaway ❤️”

This is the second time we have stayed here. This spacious cottage has everything we need and more. It's very clean and cosy. We absolutely love the amount of land that is fully enclosed. This allows for the kids and our crazy spaniel dogs to run around freely whilst safe and secure. Highly recommend for anyone with children and/or pets.

This was an iconic Yorkshire house in a beautiful country location with a fantastic entertainment areas inside & out. The playground and surrounding garden was ideal for our 3 grandchildren who loved exploring the fields. The hot tub another great addition within the large undercover area. Proximity to quaint Yorkshire villages was ideal for a pub meal or browse, aswell as a 40 minute drive to Leeds town centre. But without a doubt our main attraction to this property was the accessibility to cater for my wheelchair aswell as a total accessible ground floor bedroom with a disabled ensuite. Would love to stay in winter cozied up to the fire places.

It just so happened as we drove in, people just finished cleaning (we were early). Though I'd also been sent the code in advance, so there is absoultely no problem there.

Perfect for a family of 6 Outside area really nice It's on a national speed limit road. And, as a result there can be some vehicle noise at times. Otherwise it is in an ideally placed house with no neighbours to worry about. Loved it!!

Absolutely amazing house with everything you could possibly need. It truly was a home from home. The house was warm and cosy. Hot tub was superb with attention to detail in the surrounding area.
