Property was very clean, staff were very welcoming and helpful, location was in easy reach of all shops, pubs and tourist attractions, before arriving extended my stay for another six nights , bedding and towels were changed regularly

Very good value for money there also was no charge for car parking which I have been caught out with before staff were very nice and helpful very good breakfast have stayed in several guest houses in York and will definitely stay here again

No fuss checking in. Parking onsite was a real bonus. The room was nicely decorated and very clean and tidy. Fridge in the room was another bonus. Beds were comfortable.

The staff and bedroom was lovely. It was quite small but it had a cozy vibe during the stay

Great location- coop over the road which was handy! And only around 10-15 minutes walk from Bootham bar- where you can get the Hop On City Tour Bus, and it's a good location for pretty much everything in the city walls! The staff were lovely, always really friendly! I liked that we had a fridge in the room- something you don't really see often and it was really handy to keep drinks and snacks cold! The beds were very comfortable and unlike most hotels we actually had enough pillows!!!! Two night stay- bins emptied and fresh towels on the second day which we were not expecting!!! Breakfast was good, cooked to order which meant we could ask for changes to the breakfast- a simple English Breakfast and a small range of cereal available with tea, coffee, apple and orange juice. Check in was quick and easy! Room was comfortable and not a lot of noise (Wednesday and Thursday night- there is a pub a few doors down, unsure if it would be so quiet on a weekend night) Overall a nice little guest house!!

This hotel was everything we needed. Just a 5/10 minute walk from York Minster and everything else. It was clean and tidy and had a fridge in the room which was a bonus.tv had lots of channels to watch. Lots of storage place for clothes etc. The bed is so comfy! Parking included which for York is brilliant as parking is expensive. The staff were friendly and helpful. Everything worked.The shower was amazing. Its one of the nicest places ive stayed in in York and I come here every year. Would definitely recommend staying here and I will certainly be booking again next year when we come back.
