Lovely property in beautiful country side setting. Easy reach to get into the city of York. Ample rooms for everyone to sleep in and inside and outside areas were well maintained. Internet has a very good connection and a luxury touch of a hot tub was a great way to relax after visiting York.

Planning my friends hen party and I had to find alternative accomodation in York due to problems with one that I booked months in advance. I found this place and got in touch. Communication was excellent and they were very accommodating. The property is a little basic, particularly the upstairs, but met our needs perfectly, it was clean and comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The hot tub was great!

A lovely, well-maintained property just a 15-minute drive from York city centre. We stayed as a large group of 32 across four cottages, and it worked perfectly for us. The hot tubs were a real highlight and were enjoyed by both kids and adults.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wonderful stay in York! We had such a lovely stay in York. The accommodation was spotless, cosy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable break. The location was perfect. The hosts were really welcoming and helpful, and communication was brilliant from start to finish. We especially loved the little touches that made it feel extra special. York itself is beautiful, and this stay made the whole trip even better. Would definitely book again and highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

Clean quiet location

“Overall we had a great stay. The bride to be absolutely loved the cottage and the location.”

The location is great! We stayed in cottage 4 which is in its own garden and patio area. The cottage itself was cute and a decent size. There was 8 of us attending and I was quite shocked at how big the cottage was. Bonus for anyone attending for hen party’s or stag parties as we struggled to find a location that would accsept us but mutton grange had no issues with us being a hen party.

Quiet location but also within driving distance to amenities. Although the host changed our accommodation last minute this did not ruin the stay. If you just want simple accommodation close to York centre then this would be ideal.

Beautiful scenery, well-spaced and great sized rooms. Lovely communal area between the kitchen and the living room. Lovely outdoor area with benches, grass, chairs and the hot tub. Absolutely fantastic stay for all 13 people that stayed at the accomodation 10/10!
