“Perfect”
We stayed for the May bank holiday weekend. It was a pet friendly lodge, and you’d usually not have the cleanliness of a non pet friendly lodge but this was immaculate. Literally everything you need, other than a hair dryer 🤣 not the end of the world though. Location was fantastic, we had a lake view and it was only a short walk to the bar. Lodges weren’t too close together so you have privacy in the got tub! Rooms were huge and 2 bathrooms! Literally no complaints at all! We used the oven twice and the hob to cook breakfast with no complaints. All in all, 10/10. Thank you

The area and surroundings, the staff was polite and helpful. The lodge was lovely and was decorated for Christmas, a good range of utensils for cooking. The hot tub was good.

The layout and facilities were excellent, although there are small things that are needed in the lodge. Door mats inside. Coffee table to put cups/glasses on. Oven gloves, kitchen essentials etc

“Family Mini-Moon”
Lodge was spotless and very well laid out. Storage was fantastic. It was really modern and had a new, fresh feel to it throughout. Candles and tasteful ornaments gave it a homely feel. Towels, toilet roll and washing up liquid supplied. Really good location and very peaceful. JJ's was really close, and food there was fantastic.

Very poor communication over check-in. Phone never answered, and details were only emailed on the day. If you don't mind checking email on your phone that's fine, but I wanted to keep my phone off whilst on holiday.
