Great location and excellent in room amenities. Staff nice and friendly. The room I had was down stairs in and felt like it was in the dungeon, but it was beautiful decorated and atmospheric.

“Lovely decor but as an elder person I really struggled with the stairs to the basement and it made me very anxious.”
Comfortable clean bed lovely shower and bathroom. Allowed to leave luggage as could not get in room until 3pm check in.

The location is spot on. Right in the centre of y York. Historic building within a private residence meaning no passing people noise. Decor was in keeping with the building and the courtyard was small but private.
