This delightful and friendly family-run guest house is ideally located just a short walk away from York Minster and the historic and cultural centre of York. The city offers many historic attractions and a variety of culture and entertainment. You can indulge with a day of shopping, or enjoy a meal or drink in the excellent choice of bars and restaurants found nearby. York has something to offer everyone! Grange Lodge is also within easy reach of both the North Yorkshire Moors and the Yorkshire Dales. You may also like to take a trip to the nearby east coast where you can visit Scarborough, Filey, Whitby and Robin Hood’s Bay.

“Comfortable and convenient location.”
No food available. However the room was clean and comfortable. Very close to central York attractions. Would recommend.

“Great place for a nice visit to York”
I liked the self check-in and communication. The room was clean and comfy bed. The wifi was excellent and always a nice hot shower. Being a very warm few days it was an added bonus to have a small fan in the room! It was a easy and lovely 15 min walk into the city centre and the same to the train station. It was a nice quiet street. I would definitely stay again!

“Great location”
Great location in a quiet residential neighborhood, walking distance to city center and all attractions. Clean and comfortable room, quite large bed and in spotless bathroom a range of toiletries is also provided. Great communication with the owner regarding luggage storage for a limited time and for a fee.

“Simple guesthouse in quiet York street close to centre.”
Comfortable room in a quiet residential street with several other hotels/guesthouses nearby. Easy walking distance to York city centre, attractions, Minster, museums and theatres. Comfortable room, with ensuite. They can provide luggage storage for a fee and limited time, although I did not need to use it.

Brilliant price for central York. The venue was immaculately clean, great communication from the hosts. Ubers were cheap to get to The Shambles and The opeara house. Bed was comfortable and the room was nice and bright in the morning . It was nice as you could also hear the church bells. Lots of local leaflets, which was also nice. The venue was also very easy to find.

Very comfortable and clean warm and close to the sites. Fantastic communication and cooperation with the owner.
