“Comfortable and amazing flat in York”

Everything you see in the pictures is exactly what we found. Everything was tidy, nice and clean, including the towels and bedding smelt nice and fresh! The flat was really comfortable, with all the facilities we needed - internet working, cozy sofa, comfortable bed, kitchen equipped, bathroom nicely cleaned. It was me and my partner's first time visiting York and the owners were really lovely (they gave us a few tips on what to do and visit). We also were able to make our breakfast and few meals since the kitchen was fully equipped to make simple, easy and quick meals for two. The area is super quiet, so we had wonderful and restful nights. We did have our own car, so we found everything was quite close and quick by car (groceries, pubs, restaurants, city centre) and even found a cheap (and free for sometime) place to park the car in the centre. I had to do some work and I still felt just like at home. My partner used the bus during this day, and he said the journey was fairly quick and simple. We absolutely loved it, and recommend the city and this lovely garden flat 100%! We even hope to go back, and if we do, we will sure hope to stay here again. Thank you again Jayne and Andy!

Location is very close to the University of York where I was collecting my daughter from. Very convenient for the city also. Quiet suburban street, nice neighbourhood.

Perfect place to see the sights of York. Close to the university and the city centre. Spotessly clean and well-equipped.

Although the property is located a few kms from the town, the bus stop was located nearby and the bus ran regularly. We found the number 8 bus from Badger Hill shops to be quick, regular and convenient. We enjoyed a couple of local eateries, the Black Bull pub and Sylhety Lounge (Indian cuisine). The kitchen was great to be able to prepare a meal, and we were able to do a load of washing and hang it outside on the line. Thank you for a pleasant stay in the lovely city of York.

Hosts were very helpful, clear instructions given on parking and how to gain access to the property. They also helped me with my bags as I had trouble with trying to carry my bags on my walking frame on the chipped slate path. The accommodation itself was very clean and had everything that I needed in it, including a fan which came in very useful as the weather was very hot during my stay.
