Location is excellent, a few minutes walk to the York Minster and restaurants. The house is well set up with all that you need and very clean. There is a lovely rear courtyard for dining.

Property was probably the cleanest I have ever stayed in and I would certainly be very happy to stay there again. The quality of the furnishings and fixtures was superb and provided a well equipped kitchen with very new, quality equipment….and everything matching. There was fresh milk in the fridge and tea and coffee sachets provided as well as a lovely welcome hamper of goodies which we all enjoyed. Even plenty of dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, hand soap, toilet rolls, bin bags, tea towels, etc. Beds very comfortable, lovely pillows and lots of white fluffy towels. Plenty of clothing storage in bedrooms and beautifully equipped bathrooms with powerful, hot showers in both. Very easy to work the heating controls and plentiful supply of hot water at any time. In one of the kitchen drawers we found a very comprehensive folder with instructions for everything in the property. Also found a whole drawer full of games for those that fancy a game in the evening. Parking for 2 cars provided directly outside the property and a lovely outdoor space in the back for the warmer weather. Ideally located for everything in the city, being 10 minutes walk to anywhere it seems and just a few minutes walk to a well stocked Coop or M&S Food.

The property is excellently situated in the heart of the city in a very quiet area, a short walk from the Minster and parking for 2 cars. The property itself was spotlessly clean and excellently presented with a really well equipped kitchen. The bathrooms were well fitted and again we could find no fault, everything really clean and fresh. The owners have furnished the house comfortably with good quality furniture and accessories, a holiday home we would certainly recommend to family and friends. An exceptional property with caring owners. A nice touch was the welcome pack with crisps, biscuits, tea, coffee etc. York is a wonderful compact city with lots of history, an abundance of coffee shops,restaurants etc. Attractions galore for a wonderful city break.

Spotlessly clean and all the furnishings were a high standard. The bathrooms were luxurious. The location is perfect - central yet quiet. We could walk into the centre and the bedrooms look out at the city walls (the townhouse is just inside the city walls). We couldn't have picked a better place.

3 storey town house, fairly new beautiful kitchen, bathrooms (2) and downstsirs toliet. Perfectly clean and lots of facilities. Within a few 100 yards of all the city centre attractions. Quiet, backed onto the town walls. Best AirBNB we have stayed in and we usually have 2 each year

Our family of four (two adults and two children) spent four wonderful nights here, and our experience was absolutely perfect! **The Property:** The amenities in the house are modern, impeccably maintained, and spotlessly clean. We were particularly impressed by how thoughtfully everything was stocked. It's clear the host has put a lot of care into anticipating guests' needs, providing everything from kitchen essentials to bathroom supplies. It was incredibly thoughtful and made our stay so smooth and comfortable. **Location:** The location is simply superb. Everything we wanted to see and do in York was within easy walking distance, which was a huge plus for us as a family. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. It truly felt like a "home away from home." Thank you to the host for such a wonderful and memorable experience. We would not hesitate to book again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting York.

The location was excellent and we loved seeing people walking along 'The Ancient City Wall' from the patio area. Really well equipped and thank you for the welcome treats:) We cycled out to the site of the original Terry's Chocolate Factory - now a fancy residential development, but has a cafe/bar...The Old Liquor Store (where they stored the alcohol that went in the chocolates)....it's amazing to see!
