Overview
Kaike Tsuruya offers Japanese-style accommodations and indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths. Guests can wear Japanese Yukata robes and enjoy traditional multi-course meals in their rooms. JR Yonago Train Station is a 15-minute drive away and guests can take a public bus to Kanko Centre Bus Stop, which is located right in front of the hotel. The air-conditioned rooms have ocean views and come with a flat-screen TV, a fridge and an electric kettle. Guests sleep on tatami (woven-straw) floors in Japanese futon bedding. A hairdryer and slippers are provided in the en suite bathroom. Guests can relax with an in-room massage or sing their favorite tunes at the karaoke rooms. Local products can be purchased at the souvenir shop and you can also enjoy views of the traditional garden. Guests can reserve a private Ganbanyoku hot-stone spa for an extra charge. Meals featuring seasonal ingredients are served for dinner and breakfast. Tsuruya Kaike Ryokan is a 15-minute drive from Oyama Temple and a 10-minute drive from Yonago Castle Ruins.

I had a beautiful japanese room overlooking Mt Daisen. The staff came around 6 and made up my futon. Very comfortable, good room. There is a public bath which was heaven after a long day seeing the kōyō. The hotel is located about 3kms ftom the station, on the beach, but the bus terminal is across the road. 7-11 and family mart across the road as well.

“Relaxing Night Near Yonago”
Location - opposite of the bus station (which departs from JR Yonago station) and nearby the beach/restaurants. Room Size - fairly large (Japanese-style room) and equipped with your standard facilities such as fridge, kettle, welcome tea and snacks.

“Truly amazing!”
It was more fancy than I thought it would be, truly amazing. The Japanese style room and the public bathing area were both a fantastic experience. Close to the beach, with quite a few restaurants and stores around, direct bus to the station. There's a fridge, a kettle, some welcome teas and snacks, and a yukata for after the bath! They have three sizes. Highly recommend.
