It was a 5 min walk from Yokohama station. The room was small (typical of Japan) but super clean and cozy. One of the confiest hotel beds Ive slept in in Japan and great pillows too. Id requested an upper floor for quiet and it was quiet and the window and curtains excellent at blocking out light so I was able to sleep in after a late check in the night before.

“My short break in Yokohama awesome”
Location very strategic 400 mtr from Yokohama station, 3 minutes walk to bus station to take you to china town and Yokohama Landmark Tower, AEON supermarket only 100 mtr away, many restos and shops around, i really loved it.

Sheraton’s budget hotel is within easy walking distance of Yokohama’s typically wonderful rail station and it sits at a main road junction in a bustling, busy part of the city with plenty of Japanese restaurants around. Value is impressive and rooms are large for city centre Japanese hotels, which tend to allow less than a full sized cat to be swung. The hotel staff are, in Japanese fashion, supremely friendly and helpful. If you are planning on a short stop in Yokohama before an onward train journey (and the Saphir Odoriko to Shimoda is well worth considering), this would make a very good value hotel, but read on……
