These modern cottages are 3 km outside Ylitornio village, 10 km from the Swedish border and 50 km from Svansterin Ski Resort. Each cottage at Karemajat Cottage Resort provides a TV, terrace and kitchenette with a microwave and fridge. All have a private bathroom with shower and a clothes drying cabinet. Nice view. House is bit a small for bigger family, but is totally ok for a short stay. Just be aware of getting to the second floor - ladder is really steep. There is restaurant and possibility to buy some higiene necessities, etc, at the reception. As there were some comments about the strong unpleasant smell, I was a bit concerned, but nothing very special about this. Yes, there was some in the begining, but nothing bad.

We hve a good and comfortable stay over night on the way to further north. We chose to rent a cottage which was a nice experiance for the family of three persons. Envirenment and high location offered fantastic views.

Perfect location in the middle of nowhere, but easy to get with the car. Great view from the cabin. Very good breakfast.

“It's like a little paradise”
A great example of perfect and customer oriented cottage renting in Scandic countries: + Key was kept ready, nt any problems with handing over + very nice and clean + kitchen well equipped + absolutely quite location in the forest with amazing panoramic view over the landscape It's like a little paradise and we would like to come back any time
