Overview
Sea Star Hostel is located 2.6 km north of The Ocean Water Park in Yeosu. The hostel offers private guest rooms with sea views and free WiFi access. There are both Korean- and Western-style guest rooms. All featuring Ondol, Korean heated flooring, the rooms also come with air conditioning, a large flat-screen TV, electric kettle and fridge. Private bathroom has a walk-in shower, and free bath amenities and toiletries are provided. Self-catering and laundry is possible at the communal kitchen. Guests can freely use the computer in the shared lounge. There is a convenience store on site. From the hostel, Soho Yacht Club is 1.4 km south and Yeosu City Hall 2 km north. Yeosu Domestic Airport is a 25-minute drive away from Sea Star Hostel.

“Fantastic!”
Wonderful room - very spacious, great view over the bay, very comfortable bed, fantastic bathroom. Good facilities in the lobby - microwave, fridge, etc. Having the shop on site is super-handy and had a good selection of food and drink. The receptionist was really friendly and helpful, and there is a cute cat on site. I absolutely loved the area - it was more peaceful as it is across the bay from the big hotels, providing a beautiful cityscape view as dusk falls. Lovely to sit by the water and watch the fishing boats, and it was fascinating exploring the immediate vicinity and watching them process the catches. Loads of options for eating out/takeaways nearby. Make sure you go for a walk along the promenade to watch the sea life. Really wish I could have stayed longer but I was booked on a flight to Jeju. Short taxi rides to airport/train station.
