“Highlight: staff and pool but there is maintenance work needed”

The very hard working staff should be valued with a 12 of 10 in my review. The cleaners for example do an excellent job and they are always smiling. Check out time is at 12:00 and check in after 15:00. During our two days stay it seemed to us that the guests stay the max time there, probably because of the high price, and most of the guests probably stay only one night. Under these circumstances the work of the cleaners should be double valued!!! The pool is our second highlight. It is as beautiful as shown on the pictures offering very good privacy. We asked Mariam to fill it up at 18:00. It is not possible to fill it up or empty it on your own. It’s takes approximately 1 hour to be full. Under our weather conditions (10 to 15 degree outside temperature) it maintained hot for 2,5 hours. Full moon arise, it was so magical and we text a WhatsApp message to Mariam to refill it a bit with hot water at 21:30. She respond immediately, and someone filled it over a valve from the cellar. We stayed in until midnight. The same happened the next day. We just text to Mariam what we wanted to happen in the pool and someone does it without affecting your privacy. Respect and 👍👍 for that great service. The view depends really on where you look. I attach some pictures which the owner didn’t upload so far. I regard it as fair to show the „reality“ of what you get and not only the highlights. What bothered us, is that the owner obviously tries to make this accommodation „better“ than it is in reality. After a while I accepted to look not also on beautiful mountains, but also on a house in raw building status next to us.

My stay at Lost in Sky was fantastic, and I cannot recommend it enough for anyone visiting Armenia. The A-frame room design is spectacular—modern, cozy, and perfectly integrated into the landscape. Waking up to that panoramic mountain view was an amazing experience.Relaxing in the private, purple-lit jacuzzi on the balcony while watching the clouds roll over the valley was a highlight. Using the giant cliffside swing and the "nest" viewpoint is also a must, as it offers some of the best photo opportunities in Armenia.What truly elevated my stay, however, was the incredible hospitality. A special thank you to Mariam, who was exceptionally helpful and went above and beyond to ensure my experience was perfect. Her warmth and professionalism are rare to find and made me feel right at home. Between the breathtaking scenery and the fantastic service, this is easily one of the best properties I’ve ever visited.

this place is amazing! everything is as nice as in the pictures. The room is very convenient with a perfect view and an in-room bath! The view from the balcony is superb. The breakfast was very tasty. We also ordered dinner in the room, the prices were reasonable and we were very happy with the quality. The staff was very friendly. A highly recommended spot!

Exceptionally great location and breathtaking view. You really feel lost in the sky, it's only you and the nature around you. Last but not least, the food was really great too.

Our stay was truly a perfect escape from the hot and busy city. The hotel’s name says it all—you genuinely feel like you’re in the clouds. It was a heavenly stay with incredibly comfortable beds and a wonderfully serene atmosphere. The staff were absolutely delightful—kind, attentive, and genuinely hospitable, which made the experience even more special.

We had an absolutely amazing stay – everything exceeded our expectations! The hosts were incredibly welcoming and spoke excellent English, which made everything so easy and comfortable. A special mention to Marian, who went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. The food at the on-site restaurant was absolutely beautiful – fresh, full of flavour, and presented so well. Breakfast delivered to our room was a lovely touch and made our mornings extra special. I honestly cannot recommend this place enough – the service, the atmosphere, and the attention to detail were all perfect.

It's was such an amazing host and location. We arrived earlier, so our room was not ready yet. A very friendly woman at the reception offered us cold drinks and delicious Armenian gata while we were waiting. She gave us nice tips for the hiking to the Lastiver waterfalls. The owner of this hotel even offered to drop us off with his car at the starting point free of charge. The breakfast was delicious and room service was very good. We really enjoyed our stay.

I’m pleasantly surprised! I absolutely loved Lost in Sky! Beautifully located with a magical view of the mountains and forests — pure serenity and peace. A perfect spot for relaxing and for Instagram-worthy photos. The rooms are spotless and thoughtfully arranged down to the smallest details: minibar, bathrobes, slippers, all bathroom amenities — everything was perfect and of high quality. The restaurant is cozy, and the food is incredibly delicious. Breakfasts are fantastic — hearty and flavorful! Be sure to try the herbal tea made from Armenian herbs. I travel all over the world, and I’m truly impressed that Armenia has places of this level. The staff is very attentive and caring — thank you for a wonderful stay!
