“STUNNING”

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL location with the most stunning views. The room was large with a separate kitchen/living area, nice bathroom and lovely sized bedroom with balcony. The decor may not be to everyones tastes but it was perfect for us and we loved Geni as an area. It is VERY quiet, there is no beach (unless you walk/drive to Dessimi which is stunning) but there are 4-5 lovely restaurants nearby (including Gialos itself) and some pool bars to utilise.

Excellent service and cleaning, plus warmth Greek hospitality! We traveled with family and friends and rented a car. The apartments are very comfortable and we chose one with a beautiful view of the lake. The restaurant downstairs serves Greek delicious specialities. Cleaning is taken care of daily, the cleaning lady deserves a 10 plus 💯 The owner is very welcoming and stands behind every detail. We loved staying here 🌟 Thank you Costas 🙏

WiFi connection is not usable. This I think is the only defect

“So relaxing & exceptional view from the balcony”

This was our 2nd stay in the Gialos apartments. We holidayed there in 2022 also. Kostas & his mum Aristea make you feel very welcome & are so friendly. We had apartment 2 again, which is on the 1st floor just up a short flight of stairs. The views are sensational over the inlet, & as far as we're concerned it had everything we needed. I would suggest a car etc would be most helpful, as it is a good 10-15 minute drive around the bay to get to the nearest town of Nydri, although there are some stores along the main coast road for provisions if required, which are maybe a 5-10 minute drive. A covered car parking port is provided for approx 6 cars, which is a nice touch to keep the car cool.

The apartment was clean, quiet and comfortable. The hosts were very kind and helpful. The food in the tavern was excellent. We were very satisfied.

The apartments look exactly like they do in the photos. We had an amazing sea view from our apartment. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. Desimi beach is 5 minutes away by car. The food from the tavern downstairs was absolutely delicious, we recommend it 100%. Kostas, the host, is very nice and he made sure everything was alright with our stay. It is perfect for anyone who is looking for a comfortable and quiet place.

Kostas was at downstairs at his lovely Taverna when we arrived to hand over the keys to apartment 2 ..... not before a refreshing Mythos beer :-). He & his family, Aristea (mum), Tilemahos (dad) & relative Klea (pronounced Claire) really looked after us well. Informative, super friendly & always helpful but never intrusive. The apartment was kept very clean, & the bedding & towels were kept nice & fresh. Our apartment overlooked the stunning bay of the Geni peninsular. What a joy it was to sit out on the balcony on a morning with a coffee & gaze out at the many boats moored up in this beautiful 'lagoon'. A couple of times we went downstairs to the Taverna to sit on the deck & have scrumptious Omelettes for breakfast. Then after a 'hard' day sunbathing or swimming ;-) from the balcony, watching the sun set over the mountains above Nydri with a glass of something cool before venturing out for the evening. It's approx a 10 minute drive from Gialos into Nydri town centre, but far enough away to have total relaxation. We hired a car and explored the island, which is easy enough to get around (nothing further than an hours drive). All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our week in Lefkada at the Gialos apartments & Taverna, & we'd like to pass on our appreciation to Kostas & his wonderful family for their 1st class hospitality.
