The host was friendly and very hospitable.

To begin with our hosts Gohar and her husband Banken are one of the most warmhearted people I have met in Armenia. Gohar though 70 keeps a spotlessly clean house. She was happily trying her best to talk in English since our knowledge of Armenian language was zero. Babken a trained veterinarian still works for the Agricultural department of the region as its Director. He was very informative about the area and even went and harvested some mountain vegetables which were seasonal. Gohar cooked them to perfection. Babken loves offering his guests home made cognac, brandy and vodka. He played the Piano in the evening and we danced to the music of Raj Kapoor ( Indian cinema) films. It was a memorable visit for us. Thank you Gohar and Babken.

I was only looking for a one night stay but can imagine spending more time there. It's clean, simply furnished. The hosts are a very nice and friendly couple. It's a good idea to use GPS to find it. Car parking is possible. Very good breakfast with products from their garden.

Very warm welcome with homemade 15 years old cognac Great dinner for a fair price . Really nice family. We had a room with a big balcony . There were comfortable beds and chairs to sit/lay on. Great for a relaxed evening.
