“A Must visit!”

We had a car breakdown in the middle of nowwhere on the way to Montis, we called Lidia and she went out of her way to arrange technician visit even faster than our car rental company! We are most thankful that they were able to help us when we were stranded, shows their commitment to assist even before we arrived! The location of Montis is truly spectacular! Mountain views and river flowing at the bottom of the property, perfect place to relax. Rooms were clean and well provided for, definitely recommend!

The property is made of very cozy small one room chalets around a fire pit. It has a fantastic view towards the mountains. It’s a very nice and quiet place to enjoy peaceful nature and quiet nights.

The setting is stunning and very authentic — the hostess runs everything and is incredibly kind; she even made traditional Armenian gata for me. We enjoyed a delicious dinner and relaxing spots by the fire, the river, and on the veranda. The stars were beautiful at night. The cottages were clean, the bed comfortable, and we reached the place easily with a regular car.

We absolutely loved our stay — everything was great from start to finish. The dinner was delicious, and the breakfast, which was included in the price, was both tasty and diverse. The cabin was cozy, perfectly clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed: slippers, warm blankets, hygiene kits — we felt very comfortable. The architecture of the cabins is beautiful and well-designed, and the view from the panoramic windows was absolutely stunning. We really enjoyed being able to walk down to the river — it’s such a peaceful and scenic spot. There are also walking routes nearby, and some places of interest are within walking distance. The location is very convenient for exploring the region by car. We easily reached Noravank Monastery, Areni Cave, some lovely local wineries, Lake Sevan, and even Yerevan. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming — we felt genuinely taken care of. This place is perfect both for a short relaxing getaway and for a longer trip exploring the Vayots Dzor region. We would absolutely love to come back and highly recommend it to anyone traveling through southern Armenia.

In general, perfectly designed. In my bathroom there was a wall with stones that were covered with green plant (moss?) which looked extremely fresh and made it feel even more close to nature (oops, didn’t take a pic). Breakfast and dinner were amazing, all fresh and tasty. If you go to Yeghegis specifically for animal watching and birdwatching, ask the host to give the tips and maybe even help early morning 6am - they are all in the big rock in front of the hotel area. Was great for my guests - they complained that we didn’t stay there for more nights 😅
