A lovely house. A cosy feeling with the pyjama's, blankets, record player and freshly ground coffee. The movie projector was also great! Lovely contact with the staff by chat, communicating about cleaning times and wishes.

First, the property is beautifully designed. You can feel the owners care and dedication to outfitting the place, from little ornaments to comfortable bedding, to vinyl records and movie projectors. The wood theme makes it homely and warm. Second, it was great liaising with Jin and the staff. I had some transport troubles and couldn’t get to izu on the day of booking. This is hugely inconvenient for Jin and staff, and completely my fault. Yet they arranged for me to stay the next day minimising administrative arrangements. I am so grateful to the team behind Yamo, and am already looking forward to my next stay.

Great thought has been given to the design of house, it feels stylish and authentic. The view is amazing.

YAMO has absolute taste on everything, furnitures, record player, amenities. And the ocean view is amazing! Jin the host is so attentive on every detail, solid 10 out of 10. We wish we can come back one day! We had the best time!

I was very touched by the hospitality of the owners and I believe we have made a friendship.

I apologise for not being able to get in touch with the homeowner first. The owners are attentive and thoughtful, the rooms are clean and tidy, cleverly designed and in a beautiful setting. It takes about 15 minutes to get here on foot from Izu Kogen Station. There is a long steep slope, so if you have luggages, please take a taxi, which costs about 820 yen.

The staff was extremly nice and we enjoyed this house so much that we stayed longer than it was orginally planed. The house itself has everything you need and a beautiful design. Also there is a lot you can do in this area: There's a volcano close, a park for the kids, a zoo, many beautiful lookouts and Cafes. It takes about 30 min by car to get to the beautiful sandy beaches.
