Overview
Just a 15-minute drive from Yasugi Station, Saginoyusou offers relaxing open-air hot spring baths overlooking the mountains of Shimane. Traditional Japanese cuisine and elegant tatami-mat rooms are featured. Rooms at Saginoyusou have shoji paper screens and Japanese-style futon bedding. Most rooms include views of the hotel’s gardens. Each includes a refrigerator and flat-screen TV with satellite channels. In addition to the separate public baths (onsen) for men and women, smaller baths can be reserved for private use. Guests can enjoy a game of table tennis or look for souvenirs in the gift shop. Dinner is served in guests' rooms and features kaiseki -- a multi-course meal of local delicacies. Japanese-style breakfast is offered in the banquet room. The hotel is a 10-minute drive from the Yasugi exit on the Sanin Expressway. Adachi Museum, which features an award-winning garden, is a 1-minute walk away.

“Expections met and exceeded, the perfect ending to our Japan trip.”
We were so looked after from the moment we arrived to when we departed. We chose to stay here to have our last night in Japan to be in the most extraordinary setting and to have access to the Adachi Museum. The room was stunningly beautiful, comfortable and we loved the private onsen. The amenities provided were great too. All of our meals, dinner and breakfast, were a delight to the taste buds as well as visually pleasing.
