“Just awesome”
I loved it from the first moment. The owners are very warm. Very comfortable place to stay a few days. Floor has a carpet, which is clean, the bed is very comfortable, soft light from the lamps a plenty of hot water. Space for relaxing indoors and outdoors. No rubbish or crap lying around like the rest of Perú. Someone has a good sense of esthetic as the garden is done very nicely and there's attention to detail in the whole of the premises.

- the accommodation is in a quiet location, a short distance from the city center - convenient location for trips to colca canyon - the accommodation has a private parking lot behind the gate - hot water in the shower all day - warm blankets are available at night - the room has basic necessary equipment - beautiful garden, beautiful picturesque house - a basic breakfast is available in the morning

I stopped off at Yanque for a night on my way to Cabanaconde to do a 3-day trek, which worked really well. I had a nice afternoon visiting Uyo Uyo and the Chacapi hot springs. La Casa de mi Abuela was a quiet and comfy place to spend the night. Comfy beds, a warm, clean room and hot showers. The service was friendly and the food was good too.

“Definitely a wonderful hostel”

The host was really friendly. The room was big and clean. The hot water was the hit. Breakfast is delicious and big with self made papaya or quinoa juice. In the saloon there is a chminey where u can warm up yourself with a hot chocolate or tea :). Plus near to the hotel you can go to the natural thermal bath which is a must 😍
