Overview
Killawasi Lodge is situated in the heart of the famous Colca Valley, in the village of Yangue. Surrounded by panoramic green landscapes, it offers modern accommodations with private balconies. Rooms feature a warm décor with a mix of wood and Peruvian local textiles and arts. All provide stunning views of the valley. The private bathrooms have a bath and a shower. Room service is also available. Hotel Killawasi offers many eco and adventure activities in the area. Guests can go horse riding, hiking, visit the natural springs, spot condors in one of world´s deepest canyons and learn more about local Inca history and agriculture. A buffet breakfast is served in the restaurant. During the evening, guests can dine and enjoy a variety of dishes, prepared with local fresh ingredients. Drinks and snacks can be ordered from the bar during the day. Killawasi is situated 8 km from Chivay, 35 km from Cruz del Condor and 160 km from Arequipa. Free parking is possible, when arriving by car.

A peaceful retreat surrounded by nature. The mountain view from the room was absolutely incredible. A spacious and beautifully decorated room, heating that works well, a hot shower, and a lovely restaurant on site. I had a wonderful stay!

The view from the balcony was absolutely fantastic. The bathroom was really nice and the beds super comfortable. The people working there were very nice. The Massage was Great.

“Perfect stay for Calca Canyon”
Booked a stay and then contacted them to arrange a tour from Arequipa to Colca Canyon + return. Honeslty fantastic to deal with from start to finish! My only regret ... not having enough time to spend a few nights here! Room - beautiful, huge room with underfloor heating, patio out to the valley and the bed was incredible! Best one yet in Peru! Team - everything arranged in Spanish however on arrival at reception they spoke English; especially the main receptionist who was really caring and supportive with altitude sickness issues. Food - the resteraunt has a vast range of food to choose from. The Alpaca and Crepe was spot on!! Breakfast was a lovely buffet. Pool - nice small pool; not freezing but on the cooler side. Views - couldn't get better in the area. Lovely well maintained gardens and views into the valley. Genuinely gutted we only had one night here!

The room was very big, and looked clean. Just the spiders in my bed killed my night. Breakfast was supposed to start at 6:00. But nobody came... after 20 minutes, I managed to check out without breakfast since I was in a rush to get to Colca Valley. Diner was very good. Lomo Salvador was amazing.

The superior room are really nice, with floor heating, nice view into the valley and the garden. Beds also really comfortable. We loved staying there three nights. Staff was super friendly. A rental car is strongly recommend for the location as it makes you reach everything you want in your own pace.

“Fine option in Yanque”
A good option in Yanque, good restaurant and breakfast. (I recomend the homemade vegetable soup- deceptively good!). Amazing views.

“Superb 2D1N trip to Colca canyon”
Very comfortable, with nice views. Massage service available. They provide a free 3 hour trek to see the nearby pre Incan ruins and scenery. That’s highly recommended , but can be a bit strenuous due to the altitude
