Overview
The Great Wall Courtyard Hostel is just 500 metres from the Badaling Great Wall. It offers a business centre with fax and photocopying services, and free on-site parking. The simple rooms at the Great Wall Courtyard feature traditional Ming and Qing Dynasty Si-He-Yuan decor. They are all equipped with private bathrooms, free Wi-Fi and air conditioning. Room service is also available. A tour desk is conveniently located within the Great Wall Hostel, as are bicycle and car rental facilities. The Great Wall restaurant serves a mix of Chinese and Western cuisines. For casual, outdoor dining there are barbecue facilities.

“Perfect”
Everything. The lovely old couple who own/run the hostel were so welcoming, helpful and kind to us. Location was absolutely perfect. Plenty of places to eat around too. The breakfast they made us was so delicious. Rooms were very comfortable, have no complaints at all!

“Great stay experience!”
The rustic and laidback environment, friendly staff, traditional breakfast wanton soup served. This hostel is located in an ancient town off the hustle and bustle of Badaling entrance to Great Wall. It is a nice long walk to get to the entrance of the attraction.

“Good clean place for short stay”
A traditional SiHeYuan, quite near the train station. Once you reach the BaDaLing Train Station, you need to descend and walk around 1KM to the Hostel.

Absolutely amazing stay for those looking for an authentic place near the great wall. The breakfast was amazing and extremely filling. The key highlight was the staff - they were extremely friendly and went above and beyond to help you get settled and introduce you to the surroundings. It genuinely felt like I was staying with relatives. 10/10 would recommend

“We would have extended our stay”
Lovely hotel a short walk (20min) from the Badaling Great Wall. The staff were very helpful and got us tickets to visit the wall at night. The rooms, the entrance and the main hall were all beautifully decorated. Would recommend.

“Perfect place to stay near the great wall”
The service is unbeatable, very kind and helpful. They always try their best to make our stay confortable. The experienece was unforgettable and we recommend this place to sleep if you want to visit the great wall 100%. We will repeat for sure.

“Great location, exceeding my expectations”
The hostel exceeded my expectations, it was like a 3 star hotel. Very clean, specious room. The location was great, 10min walk to the Great Chinese wall entrance. The host was really polite and always responded to our questions promptly. She did try her very best to assist with everything she could even with her limited knowledge of English.

“Overall is good but we didn't enjoy it because of our time is too short”
I like to room, the heater is on the floor so we can stay warm. The property is very near to Great wall. With the good planning we can stay more days and enjoying the Great wall

“Can't pay with AMEX, overall best value for money”
Even though the 2 ladies did not speak english, they were wery helpful. You wont get service like that in a hotel.
