“This hotel is perfect!”

We had never such a good experience in a hotel as here. The view on the mountains is amazing, it has a nice swimming pool, the food is good and Yangshuo is a great place to visit. But the best of this hotel is the staff. It is very convenient that they speak English. So they can help you booking excursions. We lost something on the train and the staff was very very helpful getting it back. Thank you very much!

The service was very pleasant and handsome. They help in everything you need.

“Authentic experience, pool/restaurant with a view!”

Very unique and quaint accommodation. Staff were always in hand and full of useful advice and friendly with good English. Kids loved the pool…and probably a bit too noisy! The walk upstream was scenic with 2 official bamboo rafting spots (and plenty of unofficial ones along the way). We didn’t get a chance to take the bikes for a spin but there were heaps of people on them or electric scooters. The kitchen is nice too! We had no problem getting DiDi for everything including the railway station.

The hotel was gorgeous from the garden in the front to the view from the rooms and the staff were fabulous. So helpful in organising excursions and so friendly. Excellent English as well.

The hotel staff was very welcoming and super nice. They upgraded us for free to a family suite with a great view on the hills. They also helped us book activities and tours. The food in the restaurant was very tasty and reasonably priced.

A very big thank you to all the wonderful team who welcomed us at The Tea Cosy for 3 nights, we had a wonderful stay in Yangshuo. Our beautiful and very comfortable family room was a real « Room with a view ». We could have spent hours sitting in the armchair looking at it, if there hadn’t been so much to do and see in the area, including beautiful walks, restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance and incredible views everywhere you look. This small, beautifully designed and decorated hotel, is perfectly located to explore the area, which has so much to offer. Thank you for the time you took to give us a tour on the site of the Liu Sanjie show before it began. What a thoughtful gesture. We strongly advise who ever goes to Yangshuo to see this historical show. It was beautiful. My daughter and I had a little accident on the moped we rented which needed some medical traitement. We couldn’t have been better looked after and cared for by the team! Thank you so much for your advice and for taking us to the local doctor twice during our stay. You were very kind to us and it touched us deeply. We’ll never thank you enough for this. Overall, we only have praise for the Tea Cosy. You can go there without hesitation.

The hotel is very well located, just next to the Yulong River. It is a beautiful traditional building which is tastefully decorated. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the restaurant is excellent. It is definitely the place to stay to explore the area.

“The best hotel for a stay in Yangshuo”

The view from the room, the location, the staff were speaking very good English and have the best recommandations for services and activities. A big thank to Susie that was our gem during our stay. We booked massages, cable car and hot hair balloon, all great, we loved it.

Location is perfect in a good area next to the river park. Hotel is comfortable and staff was always very informative

I can't recommend this hotel enough. The rooms are beautiful with wonderful views and the location is fantastic for access to the whole Yangshuo area. There is a lovely vibe and atmosphere to the hotel which is as gorgeous as the pictures show. Most importantly, the staff here go above and beyond to look after their guests. They organised many activities / tours for us during our stay which would have been much more difficult and time consuming (language) if we had had to do this ourselves. Thank you Suzy! Aside from this, they are genuinely kind and friendly people who made us feel so so welcome. Can't recommend this place enough!

“Incredible”

It was amazing. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly with great English. They made me feel.like family and I didn't want to leave. The hotel is modern but everything in it was ancient, the gardens were a picture box, it was like being in a novel. I highly highly recommend.

Richard, Curry, and Susan went above and beyond. My girlfriend needed hospitalization. The three took so good care of the situation, i.e. helping to translate, staying at the hospital till 4am, driving me around to organize stuff. Never had this kind of experience in any place I stayed at.

Suzy and the other lovely staff spoke good English, helped us book a river cruise and provided other very useful information during our stay. The pricing was very fair, and the location is much better than staying in Yangshuo near West Street. The Chinese breakfast was 25 RMB per person and tasted great, and came with freshly squeezed, sweet tangerine juice! We didn't find it until the last day but there was a water dispenser on the ground floor.

The room was great bed was comfy views were stunning and the staff was very helpful and very sweet. Everything was perfect and I truly recommend that place to anyone!

Exceptional stay! Charming, clean hotel exactly as shown in the photos. Our room with the bathtub was lovely and the bed extremely comfortable. Good dinner with a wide choice of dishes. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, all speaking excellent English. Special thanks to Anna, who went above and beyond to help us with an airline issue, even speaking Chinese on our behalf. Highly recommended!
