Stunning scenery, great room and price. Quiet and peaceful, felt like a getaway.

The house is located in Yulong village, which is perfect for those who appreciate peace and quiet. While you need to travel a bit to reach some of the main attractions, the advantage is that there are almost no tourists around. It allows you to experience a little of authentic Chinese rural life. We enjoyed very comfortable, huge bed with fantastic electric blankets that keep you pleasantly warm during cold nights. The host is responsive and very kind.

“A Peaceful, Charming Stay with Exceptional Hospitality”

I truly loved my stay at your hotel — it matched my taste perfectly. I visited in the off-season and happened to be the only guest, but that made the experience absolutely wonderful. I was surrounded by the warm care of two charming sisters who made my stay incredibly pleasant and beautifully informal. They even cooked meals for me from time to time. They arranged a rental bicycle for me and later kindly drove me to the bus stop so I could travel on to Guilin. The hotel itself is lovely — clean, spacious, and full of a special Chinese charm. The building is old and has been restored with soul and affection, and you can really feel it. Another important thing is its location: it sits right next to a large mountain, which makes the whole place peaceful and quiet. At times I felt as if I were far away from everything — not in the steppe, of course, but in a forest, or perhaps in the atmosphere of old China. A truly wonderful hotel. I would be happy to return someday.

“A kind family run home stay”

The kind and helpful family hosts arranged everything from e-bike rentals to transportation and breakfast. The property is a beautiful, traditional home, exactly as pictured on the booking listing, with extras like a ping-pong table. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and simple. It’s the perfect base for exploring Yangshuo, especially the riverside paths.

I’ve never stayed in more beautiful, authentic and affordable place. The staff was amazing, warm and helpful people. The rooms were perfect with everything you need. The building is an authentic ancient chinese house and it makes you go back in time.

Wow! This place was quiet clean friendly...Hired a motor scooter to get around..Wei Wei organised that all for us.. Plenty of choices for breakfast and dinner...quite large servings..(do need to pre order) Washing machine no charge available Absolutely loved this place Thankyou

“Unique atmosphere”

The historical site

This is a really authentic place, an old family compound, in a local town away from touristy Yangshuo. At first we thought it might be TOO far away from everything, but they gave us free bikes to ride around the area on and just down the road at the bridge were some lovely restaurants and one of the best views up and down the river! It all feels very authentic. Tip: to go south down the riverside for the day on the bikes, you can cross the bridge, turn left and find a river edge path on the far side for 20 minutes or so... further down, you cross a bridge to switch back sides and carry on all the way. Stunning river area. really beautiful. (We tried to stay on the hotel's side at first, using maps and so on to find our way but we hit dead ends amongst the rice fields and also had to use roads for a while. Not terrible, but far nicer on the bike paths, that we discovered on the way back). There is also a modern, safely set up via ferrata climb that is worth doing, near there, that the hotel put us in touch with. amazing views. (its not that long so you can ask to go a second time right away, which was actually nice as you can be less scared the second time).

“An enjoyable, value for money stay for the ancient house experience”

A quaint, ancient style villa (a few houses connected together) run by the sisters. Right next to a gorgeous mountain, We stayed in their 3-beds room that could fit 6 people. Value for money. The sisters were hospitable and welcoming. Breakfast was local food (guilin noodles, yau char kwai, porridge). While the location is further from town, it was nearer to tourist attractions such as bamboo rafting, moon hill, cable car.

Beautiful ancient house. The rooms are spacious and comfortable (equipped with electric blankets, which we appreciated in cold December!). Very warm welcome from the hosts, delicious food and a lot of activities available to discover the surroundings. We will be back!
