Absolutely perfect stay. Everything from the cleanliness to the atmosphere was exceptional. The staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to help. The location is ideal. Honestly one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in. 10/10 without hesitation.

It’s a new building well kept. Clean, right in the middle of the walking street but away from the crowd. The staff is fantastic, they speak e flush and help you with everything you need to visit.

The receptionist was super nice and helpful, the rooms big, clean, very nice and all.

Everything was fantastic. It's in a beautiful location, with one if the best restaurants I've tried in China just 20 meters away.(Guiji Lijiang Fish Home Cooking Restaurant 桂记漓江鱼家常菜馆). The surprise was the three beautiful cats that are part of the hostel. The room was massive, very clean, comfortable and very affordable. The ladies at the reception were very nice and helpful.

I really enjoyed my stay at Emoji Hostel. What made it amazing was the hospitality of the staff and their helpfulness in making sure I was taken care of during my stay. They helped with giving me recommendations on where to go, rented bikes for me and arranged transport to Yangshuo station on my last day. And I even got to make dumplings during the Winter Solstice festival. Staying here was a gateway into the beautiful city of Yangshuo and it has become one of my favourite parts of the world. The city filled my heart with joy and the karst mountain scenery was so captivating. Walking along the Li river at sunset on my first night, making dumplings to celebrate the Winter Solstice with Emily, Lin and Yi at the hostel, cycling the awe-inspiring 10 mile gallery and hiking up for sunrise to the TV tower were the moments I will always remember. When I visited China 15 years ago the Guilin area was on my list of places to visit but I couldn’t find time to fit it in during the 3 weeks. I’m glad because this time coming felt so right! And staying here will make your trip memorable!

Location was great, right next to lovely west street. The reception were so amazing, helped to organise transfers and electric scooters. Would definitely recommend.
