“Great affordable place to stay in Yangshuo”

Relaxed small hotel near riverfront walking and cycling paths. Our room was clean and comfortable.

We recently stayed here as a large group of families with complex room requirements, and the hosts went above and beyond to accommodate us! They were incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive, also arranging scooters, taxi transport to and from the train stations and even discounted tickets for the Liu Sanjie show, which made our trip seamless. The location is ideal—tucked just off the main street, offering a peaceful retreat, yet within easy walking distance to countless restaurants and easy biking distance to super busy Yangshuo town. The property itself is lovely and quiet, with good coffee available and a wonderful Western-style breakfast option with croissants and eggs, providing a nice break from traditional breakfast noodles and other typical regional foods. Highly recommended for families or groups visiting Yangshuo!

Good and quiet place to explore Yangshuo. In a small village with a lot of good restaurants. Some tourist places, rafting on walking distance. Host is very helpful.

Lovely property with a beautiful garden and great views over the mountains. Spacious and tastefully decorated room with a comfy bed. The hotel has recently changed hands and the owners are no longer fluent in English, but we got by with the help of translation apps and they were infinitely helpful - showing us to local restaurants, booking taxis - and extremely kind and friendly. We really felt at home at our first stay in China and it was a pleasure to see them everyday. We would recommend the Chinese breakfast offered by the hotel at a nearby restaurant (we didn’t try Western).

Excellent hotel, absolutely a place where we feel home! It's very clean, and extremely well located (3 mins walk from the field, 7 mins walk from Yulong river). Staff are nice and feel like family, the room is big, matress is very comfortable (not so common for Chinese hotels). The garden is lovely and relaxing, big terrace to enjoy the sun or some reading, free billiard for family to enjoy moments together, the bar with lots of choices to enjoy the evenings. Coffee and the western breakfast are WOWs also in this small town among the karst mountains. Very good value for the money!

We really liked the personal touch and also the friendly and helpful owner and staff. The quality of the breakfast (option Western or Chinese), as well as the coffee and evening bar is very unique for China - especially for this place. Eric and Sammie were super helpful with everything - including helping us to book the right tours and advising us on what not to do :-) right opposite the hotel you can rent an e-scooter (diandongche in Chinese) which is very cheap and you can get around very easily. The bamboo rafting tour you can reach by foot in around 15'. Dinner options you also have in walking distance - we loved the food right when you leave the hotel, you go left and the first little restaurant on the left side had amazing food. we also did the sunrise tour to Xianggong mountain and the owner helped us to book a private driver. it was worth getting up early but be aware that there are lots of people there also wanting to see the sunset (even in the off-season there were many people). But they make sure you are early enough to get a good spot for watching the sunrise and getting to take great pictures as well. We really enjoyed our time there. The international touch and the friendly hosts made it special!

There is much to like about this place but if I have to pick I’ll go with the outside terrasse and garden, the super comfy bed, the family feel and going cycling at sunrise - peace, quiet and beautiful photo opportunities:):)

The stay at Yang Shuo Eden Inn was absolutely delightful. The hosts are wonderful, offering to take me to try a local delicacy as I was traveling by myself and going out of their way to help with purchasing tickets, renting bikes and giving directions. They also organized a transfer from Yang Shuo railway station and the transfer to Guilin airport, which I recommend booking as it makes your life a lot easier. Since they cater mostly to foreigners, they are aware of the issues foreign tourists face in China sometimes and are very accommodating and ready to help you figure things out if you need. The room is spacious and clean and the breakfast - local noodles in a nearby restaurant - is absolutely delicious. The location of the accommodation is very conveniently located near the river and major attractions, but downtown Yang Shuo is also easily reached by either bicycle or scooter. All in all, I would highly recommend staying here, even if you are traveling by yourself, you will be warmly welcomed and made to feel at home!

The loveliest family-run property you could imagine! The team there help you with everything to make your trip unforgettable! The hotel is located in the most dreamlike area of Yangshuo in the countryside village. Perfectly clean, delicious snacks and drinks, opposite scooter hire, the scenic river area and restaurants and all activities within easy reach! It really made our holiday perfect.

Location of the hotel is great. It's in a small village with everything (shops, restaurants, bike renting etc.) at the corner. Just with 3 or 4 mins walk, we are in the field where the footpath zizagges along the small river close the the village. Yulong River is about 8 mins walk, at the end of the footpath. Online map shows that everything in Yangshuo is within 4.5 kms (about RMB 10 car fare) and is really convenient. The room is nice and clean, matress is unexpectedly comfortable. The staff are nice and helpful, and they offer a nice continental breakfast at just RMB 25. We have enjoyed our stay and if we would ever travel back to Yangshuo again, we definitely will come back to stay here.
