The staff very extremely friendly and helpful, probably the best staff in a hotel I've been to. They also helped to plan our sightseeing trips. The hotel was very lovely and in a traditional style and was quiet and peaceful.

This is one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve stayed in. The location is perfect, quietly hidden away from tourists yet close to stunning Yangshuo sites. The hotel setting is so beautiful, lush gardens, a lovely pool, and views to die for. The hotel staff are the most helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. They helped us book trips and activities. They really made us feel at home away from home.

“Peaceful stay”

The hotel is perfectly located in a wonderful natural landscape. The villa was very clean and offered superb views on the surrounding hills. All staff members were incredibly kind, and organized different activities and drivers in the area.

Beautiful boutique hotel set in a quieter area of Yangshuo with bike trails on the doorstep. The team here, led by the excellent Sophia and Vivian, are truly first class. They helped us organise a number of private tours, pick ups and drop offs, all with great courtesy and charm.

Lovely boutique hotel! The room was very nice and the bed extremely comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good. We spent two nights and we absolutely loved it.

I had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel in Yangshuo. The setting was absolutely picturesque, surrounded by stunning karst mountains and peaceful rivers. The staff were incredibly kind and spoke excellent English, making the experience warm and effortless from start to finish.

We had a wonderful stay at Ancient Garden Hotel. Everybody in the Hotel was extremly friendly and supportive. Great Pool and beautiful Garden. The Hotel is in traditional Houses in a very nice scenery, the Room was nice with a very modern bathroom. Sophia organized a tour for us, which was amazing. The Perfect relaxing stay for us. We also had Great Dinner at the Restaurant with Great view to the Mountains. Great hospitality, very Open and very friendly.

Really lovely venue, built in traditional style with beautiful landscaped gardens and a gorgeous pool. It felt like an oasis of calm and peace. My room was lovely and the bed was super comfortable. The staff were also all very friendly and helpful, and the food was good. I would definitely come here again - in fact I looked into extending my stay but couldn't make that work! Highly recommended.

This hotel is absolutely charming—a true garden oasis tucked away in a small village near the river, offering easy access to a variety of river activities. My room was both beautiful and tranquil, the perfect place to relax. The staff, Julia and Sophia, were incredibly warm and went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. They helped arrange a scenic bike ride along the river and a private Tai Chi class—both experiences were fantastic. If I ever return to Yangshuo, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Absolutely beautiful oasis in Yangshuo! It was recommended to us by a friend and we couldn’t have been happier. The buildings and gardens are just gorgeous. It’s perfectly located for exploring the area and the staff are just amazing! I arrived with a broken ankle and I was somewhat limited in what I could do. The staff were just fantastic. Always looking out for me and they were incredibly helpful booking activities, drivers etc. Julia and Sophia and their team speak excellent English and really made us feel at home. It’s a truly peaceful environment, restful and surrounded by organic vegetable gardens and natural landscapes.

This hotel is beautiful and we loved staying here as a special treat for my birthday. The garden view deluxe villa was spacious, extremely clean and comfortable. The hotel grounds and gardens are stunning and very photogenic. We borrowed the hotel bicycles to cycle along the Yulong river path, which was scenic and lovely. I had a pleasant swim in the pool, a private Tai Chi lesson arranged by the hotel staff and we had some fun dressing up in the costumes provided for free use of guests. Sophia and her team of staff were kind, helpful, friendly and all spoke an excellent level of English. The breakfast and dinner was delicious and they were able to provide me with vegan options.
