“Can't recommend highly enough”

Wonderful place! We were sad to leave it. A fantastic position on the river, a homely feel with welcoming staff but also has comfortable rooms and decent food. Special mention to the reception staff who went above and beyond to arrange excursions and ensure we had what we needed. Serving staff were tremendously hard working also.

The property is exceptional in every way - its location is stunning, its exterior and interior are exceptionally well taken care of and the design of the place is exquisite. The staff of the hotel make the whole experience outstanding. They were really responsive and exceptionally helpful. We ended up having every meal at the hotel restaurant because we loved it so much.

We had the most incredible stay at Aspara Lodge for our honeymoon. From the moment we arrived, everything felt special — and then they completely surprised us with the sweetest honeymoon setup. “Loved it!”

Loved the secluded village feel of the lodge. Really felt nestled in amongst the bamboo along the river. Close enough to activities but far enough away to feel very relaxing.

A fantastic place with genuinely excellent service. The hotel organised a transfer from the city and even upgraded our room beyond what we had booked. The room was modern, very spacious, and offered a beautiful view. Everything was done to a very high standard. All the main must-see sights are within easy reach. The service at the hotel is outstanding - staff respond to any request almost instantly and are consistently attentive and professional.

Really appreciate the care given by the staff. They were so kind and attentive to our needs (including one of them going into town on our behalf to purchase medication). Really lovely view, good breakfast and afternoon tea. Staff were also really helpful in recommending and arranging activities in the area for us.

Decor, the feel of the hotel, the vibe of the hotel, the facilities (pool, food) was excellent. It is great to be bit father away from the busy city centre (xijie) with peace & quite and beautiful views of the sunset

“Wonderful hospitality in a stunning setting”

We loved our stay at Apsara Lodge. The staff are incredibly kind, helping to book tickets and tours at really reasonable prices. They pre booked us a driver from Guilin airport which was very smooth. The accomodation  is rustic but comfortable and situated in a beautiful and peaceful spot around 15 mins drive away from Yangshuo town. We found it really easy to get everywhere in the area using Didi taxis and bicycles for just a few Yuan. There are also stunning hiking trails straight from the property and multiple rafting spots along the Yulong River nearby. Unlike other places in the area, we found the area to be less overrun with tourists (that said, we visited in winter). The local food was wonderful and they have just built a pizza oven where you can make your own pizzas too. Free coffee, tea and washing facilities were a great touch. We had the in-room massages which were very reasonably priced. If you're looking for something that feels local and personal in a beautiful part of Yangshuo, we really recommend Apsara.

“Dream place in amazing surroundings”

Most peaceful place with wonderful rooms, beautiful decoration and great service. The food was local and colourful. Couldn’t have been any better.

“Really excellent”

We absolutely loved our week at Apsara Lodge. The room (in fact both rooms, as we got moved to a bigger one free of charge halfway through our stay) was (were) lovely. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The food was delicious. We were there in the Chinese holiday week and Apsara was a calm oasis in a very busy area!
