The beds were insane — soooooo comfy!!! The soap and shampoo in the rooms was incredible (smells so so good — bit random to add but it was just so nice!) The town is small so it’s about a 5 minute walk from the bus stop and from every other thing to do in the area :)

It was one of the best experiences in China! The vibe of the hostel is super chill and welcoming, but what really makes it special are the two guys who work there. They go above and beyond to help with everything—whether it’s travel tips, local food recommendations, or just making sure you feel at home. Their energy is infectious, and you can tell they genuinely care about every guest. They made my stay smooth, fun, and unforgettable. If you’re passing through Xinping, Pomelo Hostel isn’t just a place to sleep—it’s an experience, largely because of these two amazing guys. Can’t recommend it enough!

“Cozy hostel for travellers”

Clean rooms, friendly and warm atmosphere. There is a washing machine on the roof. Can meet many fellow travellers and friends by hanging out in the lobby. Leo and Victor were super cool.

Lovely staff, speaks English. Good location - next to ancient town. The rooms are basic but good value for the money.

We loved our stay at Pomelo Hostel. The rooms are spacious with a comfy bed, daily room keeping and fresh, fluffy towel everyday. Free laundry machine on the roof, well equipped common area where it's easy to hang out and meet fellow travellers..some community events like hikes etc organized by hostel staff. Amazing value for money, this hostel has it all. Definitely recommended.

Very nice, traveler vibe. Good location. Good price. Very comfortable room. Enough space, solid Aircon with heating option, lockers, comfy beds, very silent during the night. Possibility to make laundry in the hostel with a great view from the terrace. Little disadvantage - squatting toilet in the bathroom.

“Good hostel close to the most important Xingping attraction.”

It is close to the main Xingping attraction, that is the 20 yuan mountains scenic site. By vlose I mean a nice 15 minutes walking. It is also very close to the ancient city and it’s beautiful streets.

They really created an amazing hostel with a friendly environment. Even though I didn't speak Chinese they where able to help me and I was also able to join a activity which was easily the highlight of my trip

Very good location, close to the bus station. Room big and clean (private one), quiet area. the receptionist helped me to find a transport even if he don´t speak English, I am very grateful for that.
