Magaly & Carlos were sensational hosts. Very interesting people with loads of great information. Their cooking is beyond anything I’ve had in Peru. They make the most wonderful meals. Their small farm inside the national park is one of the highlights of my time travelling solo by motorcycle.

The property was just what we needed before a few days hiking, great warm shower, comfy beds and a unique experience. Carlos and Magali were so welcoming, cooked us amazing local food and shared with us their homemade soaps/essential oils.

Illary is run by an absolutely wonderful family. After our stay of only one night, before starting the Santa Cruz trek, we felt like part of the family. Oh, and the food is fulfilling for both the stomach and soul.

Beautiful setting close to the Santa Cruz Trek trailhead. Super friendly and welcoming couple who run the hotel. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and made from produce grown on their farm.

The owners are such interesting, caring, fun people. They looked after us so well and the food was amazing, straight from their organic garden. The location is also perfect for the Santa Cruz trek or just relaxing in the mountains.
